Please plan ahead for your pet’s anxiety/sedation medications. We require 24 hour notice and an exam within 1 year (valid VCPR) to fill medications.

What’s a VCPR… veterinary-client-patient-relationship. This is required by law to dispense any medications and is only valid for 1 year.

We can’t believe it!!! 8 doctors and 20 vet students got 50 dogs spayed and neuter in 6 hours!! All 100% volunteered time!
Couldn’t do it without ALL volunteers and staff! Thanks CARA vet for sponsoring this event

1) PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND PAID (remember our doctors are volunteering their time, and we do not have time to answer questions via phone)
2) If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
3) Once application is received, you will receive notification via email within 24 hours if approved. Then, you have 3 business days to pay and schedule your appointment or your spot will be given to another participant.
4) Don’t forget to check your Junk folder

PS. If anyone has any questions/complaints about our requirements, we would love to chat with you about it via email rather than having to hear about it second hand. This is our first clinic ever for dogs, and we hope to do more, but we will NOT be continuing this program if we get ‘drug through the mud’ online.

Cool case!

We have been waiting anxiously to see how Bellini’s eye has healed. Bellini presented 2 months ago with a ruptured eye. This usually results in removal, but we opted to try something new to Dr. Sorensen. A graft from Bellini’s own tissue.

Only time would tell about healing and her vision! We are happy to report that her vision appears intact and the eye healed beautifully.

Canine Spay Neuter Assistance Program
- APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE MORNING OF MARCH 25th
- 50 spots available
- Applicants much meet HUD low income limits to qualify
- Open to anyone who qualifies (does not have to be grant county resident)
- Limit 2 dogs per household
- Drop off times will range from 9am to noon (assigned)
- We ask you remain close to the venue (within 20 minutes) as pickup times will vary and we do not have room to keep pets all day

OWNER CLAIMED !!!
This young male dog was found wandering at OHS this morning. Loose dogs on school grounds can be dangerous, and with no facility for city impounds he is hanging out with us until owner or foster is found. Please call or text us if you would like to reclaim.
