The horses were enjoying the nice day yesterday. Things have been slow going because I had a baby this year ^-^ but we are looking to get more fences and stalls set up and look forward to when we can open our doors.

After a year of setbacks we finally have a second turnout up. We hope to get a third up as well as 4 more stalls set up before we have a soft opening hopefully in the fall.

And with that we have our driveway! We will also do parking in the future but this was a great step for us to get done. Thank you Jimmy of all trades! Check him out for all sorts of indoor and outdoor work that he does.

We have been working hard out at the stables, but considering quite a few variables unfortunately we won't be able to open this year. Our work will continue through the winter and spring in hopes to having a wonderful open house in the summer. We hope to see you all there.

It is starting to look like a real barn in here! Thank you CB Masonry & Construction, Inc. for doing our cement. We can't wait to start setting up the tackrooms and get our water and electric up and running.

We just got in two personal horses! It is fantastic to see happy faces out these windows. We are continuing work on the stable to be able to fully open, hopefully in the fall. Things are underway with water, electric, and cement and we are always working on getting up our turnouts. We here at Sowden Stables look forward to seeing more happy horse faces out these windows.
