A lot of things happening on the farm lately. Baby calves, baby chicks, and quite possibly more puppies in a month or so.

Our newest “baby” was born Wednesday. He came via C-section as he was too big for a normal birth. I didn’t officially weigh him but I guess him to be around 150 lbs. going to make somebody an awesome show steer.

Sale barn: Here’s a nice gentle black cow due to calve March 1.

Reality: She calved around 4:00 am this morning (Jan 30) and is mean as a snake.

Super nice bull calf and all is well.
