Over 32 years we have intentionally developed bloodlines that are champion bloodlines, field tests, and family approved! We believe that combination of top of line genetics, training, and nutrition is the only time tested way to consistently produce excellent dogs in the field, confirmation ring, and in the home. All of our dogs are "LIGHTSWITCH" dogs, proving themselves to be demons in the field, and angels in the home, a true marker of genetically excellent EB!

Would appreciate a prayer for Mr Moose if ya have one in ya. Yesterday he had a seemingly nothing-burger of a bump on the door frame as he raced out to the yard to do his morning lap and stake his claim to the local stumps and corners.

Well turns out this morning he had swelling on that side of his head that we monitored as it was mild, only to see him have a bad delayed concussion like reaction where he lost voluntary movement and started twitching (like a seizure kinda). Doc’s prognosis is a likely acute head injury with further testing to come.

I’ve never seen this or experienced it (outside of my own concussions which I didn’t really see or experience in the moment). But man that stuff is scary and while Moose is resting well, I’m left with the very real question: hasn’t he done enough? Enough for me (yes)? Enough for the breed? Enough for the dog world?

If he could speak English he would say “let’s go!!” But when do I say thanks bo, you did it. Pastoral language restrains me but certain words seem like the only proper adjectives and adverbs for this lil orange dog. Send a prayer up to the big guy if ya could.

Jake is our March madness pup! So exciting to follow Jake’s story!! ❤️❤️

At 6 months Jake has been in the program for almost 4 months now and this is one of the outcomes to having over 50 bird contacts in the first few months of development. He is holding nearly to flush with no coercion, and freaking loves to hunt! He has a natural retrieve and is gonna make one heckuva dog as he matures!

“We call him Bullitt after Steve McQueen mustang. He’s very sweet and loves being around people and our other French Brittany. In the field, he has a lot of intensity and prey drive. We hunted 10 weeks across 4 states. He pointed sharptail, woodcock, ruffed grouse and pheasant. Looking forward to this fall.

Two puppies have been blessed with new families. How I love these days…male 1 is traveling home with father and son joining our Trinity Family in Minnesota. Female 2 is staying in town and will be our neighbor. 🤩 The letter for this year’s French Brittany’s naming convention is V. It is so fun Nate and Molly are naming their little girl Van Dolly!! French Brittany adopted Dutch! ❤️

On May 9, 2023 I posted Dots mini Udela Emberlee de la Trinite had found her way home. I knew Kaitlyn Michele Maunu was hoping for Ember to also be a service dog, but that is all I knew. Jeff Ruiter spoke with her on which puppy as she was torn between two. At 8 weeks Ember trained with Redemption Bird Dogs aka Josh Ruiter. Today, Kaitlyn shared more of her precious story and with permission I share with you. I have learned stories change hearts and lives and Kaitlyn your story has changed mine. Thank you Kaitlyn for your love, perseverance and beautiful heart! Our hearts and prayers are with you all! I just don’t believe in coincidence and that Embers path to you was circumstance. What a beautiful video of L❤️VE at its finest. What a wonderful mom you are!! Please take a moment to read Kaitlyn’s story in her words: “Hi Lisa! I just wanted to share this video of Ember. My youngest son receives infusions every two weeks. He has a bone marrow transplant at 2.5 months old for a very rare illness. He is doing wonderful now and is completely normal minus this infusions we do every 2 weeks. But hoping not for much longer. Last few times I have made Ember apart of them. Made it a training for her. Last night it was like she knew right away. She laid her head on him and was his distraction when he got stuck. First time in a very long time he has not cried or fought during it. ❤️ I wish more people knew how great these dogs are for therapy work just as much as hunting work❤️” Kaitlyn
