Tuesday Puppy: Tonight during loose leash walking the handlers worked with slip leads using pressure and release. With the slip lead we get more engagement with less pulling and less sniffing the ground. 👏 Week 5! Place to place and placing on different objects.

Our Advanced drop-in class met at the facility today so that some of our day training dogs could join in on the fun. If you look through the photos you will find Shadow, Piper, and Nemo doing a fantastic job with their obedience!!

Monday Intermediate: Board and Train Rubble and King joined class tonight. Everyone did great. Figure 8 stays, recall with distractions and loose leash walking. Every pup went over the big teeter! 🎉👏

Sunday 6pm basic: Week 5 👏 Tonight we worked on having the dogs sit/stay while the owners walked around them, loose leash walking, and placing on different objects. Nice job everyone. Owner's choice next week!

Walter has really learned to be less anxious when Mom is away from him while he's on place. She was even able to go outside and get her coat without him coming off place. His off leash reliability is on point, even with squirrels and people present. He's walking great downtown and building confidence with place!

Enrichment dogs did some loose leash walking with leave-it around our (fake) office cat.

It's Shadow's last day in our day training program! He went out downtown to perfect his stay, loose leash walking, and recall with distractions.

Theo got outside for exposure and to work on relaxing when moving and when stationary. We still have a long way to go, but progress is being made! #precisionk9training #dogtraining #looseleashwalking
