I have my ABCDT dog training certification. Although not required in the dog training industry certification is a way to communicate to our clients our dedication to them and their pets. Certification shows a trainer put in a lot of time and has been tested on their knowledge. I am also a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI) and can help you earn Trick Titles with your dog. ositive methods based on science to help you discover the best pet your pet can be! We choose to follow the Association of Professional Dog Trainers' (APDT) LIMA protocol. I believe in helping the homeless pets in our area find their fur-ever homes in any way I can. With this a portion of every training sale made with Discover Pet Training LLC will be put towards providing kennel enrichment for our area's homeless pets. Kennel life is stressful on shelter pets, kennel enrichment helps reduce that stress. We also offer free help to any shelter to help set up a kennel enrichment program. FOUND ON I-39 not sure exactly where but assuming not too far from the Ottawa area area since the state police brought her to Fox Valley Vet (815-434-0363) in Ottawa. This was on Saturday night 12\30/23. She has not been claimed as of yet and they are still hoping to find her family. If not, she will be available for adoption. She’s very sweet and shy. Our Story

Welcome to Discover Pet Training. We specialize in puppies and preventative training. After all if you teach your dog what you want, you don’t have to worry about fixing unwanted behaviors later. Don’t worry though, we also do behavior modification for dogs that have developed those unwanted behaviors. We offer group classes, private training programs, and an online obedience class to help you discover the best dog your dog can be. Our group classes cover a wide range from obedience to agility to jumping to just plain having fun.

Meet our trainer: Hello, my name is Marisha. I always knew I wanted to work with animals. So much so that I got a degree from the University of Stevens Point in Wildlife Education and captive wildlife management. In other words my college career prepared me to work with zoos with wild. This background has helped in more ways than I can count when it comes to dog training. In addition to my college degree I have my ABCDT dog training certification. Although not required in the dog training industry, certification is a way to communicate to our clients our dedication to them and their pets. Certification shows a trainer put in a lot of time and has been tested on their knowledge. I also have continued my education and I am a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), Certified Canine Conditioning Coach, AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and instructor, and a Certified Pedestal Training instructor. In my training I use positive methods based on science to help you discover the best pet your pet can be! We choose to follow the Association of Professional Dog Trainers' (APDT) LIMA protocol.
