UPDATE: Some of you may have seen the earlier post about Mike taking a dip in Lake Erie with his phone in his pocket. Mike got a new "flip phone" so he is back in business scheduling appointments for grooming and boarding!

We all get older! Technology has allowed us to replace parts. I am getting Knee Replacement Surgery June 27th and will be out for at least 2 weeks.
If all goes well, I should be able to groom small dogs after that. I'm not sure how soon after surgery that I will be able to do larger dogs.
I wanted to let my call-in clients know so they can plan for this, and my standing appointment clients will be notified when I will be making your next appointment.
Anyone who may need a boarding appointment during that time, should go ahead and call when needed. Kathy will be taking care of your dogs in the kennel!

Just a reminder!

ATTENTION!

Today is the day...last day to purchase dog license without a penalty if you have had the dog for over 30 days or you have not renewed dog license for this year!

The Putnam County Dog Shelter will be open this evening from 5 pm to 7 pm selling 1 year dog license and kennel license. Only cash or check can be accepted.

You can still purchase dog license at the Courthouse from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm today with cash or check. There is an ATM in the courthouse if you need to use credit card.

Online dog license sales will continue to right before Midnight tonight without a penalty. The online company does charge a processing fee. Go to www.doglicenses.us/OH/Putnam to purchase online.

Remember, if mailing the dog license form in, it MUST be postmarked for January 31, 2024! You may need to go into the post office while they are open and ask to have the enveloped stamped with January 31, 2024. If the enveloped is stamped with February 1, 2024, you dog license will be considered late and you will have to pay the penalty.

ALL dogs over the age of 3 months are required to have a dog license per State of Ohio Law Section 955.21. You can be cited into Municipal Court for failure to register your dog.
