Our clinic opened in the summer of 1952 by Dr. C.E. Dr. Kim Novak started at the clinic in her early teens as a kennel assistant. Upon finishing Veterinary school, she joined Dr. Loomis in his practice and event

ually took over the entire practice upon Dr. Loomis' retirement. Dr. Caitlin Rinker graduated Veterinary school and joined the practice in 2017. We opened our brand new building in November of 2017. Dr. Nicole Olson joined the practice in 2018, bringing us large animal capabilities. Dr Melinda Truckenbrod lends a hand as a relief veterinarian also. Our Doctors:

🎃 ‼️Special hours for Halloween this Friday, 10/31/25 at the Ottawa location…we will be closed over lunch from Noon until 2:00 pm…then closing early for the day at 4:00 pm to be able to enjoy Halloween festivities with our little ones.
