This is why females don't get spayed unless it's a absolute medical emergency, & even then it's hard to find a good vet who's confident & willing to do so. 🩷

❕ ️PSA for Suggies & 🎄❕️ Pine trees are toxic for sugar gliders, the phenols in the tree & sap are toxic for them. They are a lung irritant & your gliders should not be in the same room & you should not allow them to play on the tree either. Enough exposure can lead to lung, kidney & liver damage & eventually sepsis. Nobel & Douglas Fir & Blue Spruce trees are not toxic, but the saps/needles can cause skin irritation so again, not a good idea to allow them to play on it. Fake trees can have their own chemicals & toxins, they aren't completely safe either. (Plus they'll most likely go potty on it!) Not to mention light wires can also be dangerous.. Just not worth the risk of snapping a cute photo. 💚
