On Saturday morning, Kooper joined his brothers over the Rainbow Bridge. It’s always hard to lose a member of your family and Kooper’s family went above and beyond to give him the best quality life they could in these past two years despite his numerous health issues. He even had homemade meaIs in consultation with his veterinary specialists. I had the privilege of seeing Kooper 5 days a week and sometimes more for a walk and a special midday meal. He looked forward to this time and always greeted me happily. Together we explored the neighborhood park and streets, then he’d have his lunch and settle down for a nap. I will miss our daily adventures and his happy greetings complete with the occasional case of the zoomies! 😄 I wish his family peace and healing during this time of loss. And to Kooper- in the words of Neil Young, “ Long may you run”.

Looking for an animal lover who also loves working in the great outdoors. Get paid to walk dogs. Opening for a midday (11 AM- 3 PM) dog walker to serve the White Marsh, Nottingham, Parkville, Perry Hall, Essex and Middle River areas. Some pet sitting may be required. Pet Sitting entails providing care for pets (dogs, cats and some smaller animals) in the owners' homes and requires availability for morning 8-10 AM, dinner time 4-6 PM and bedtime 7-9 PM visits. May include work on weekends and holidays. Bonus pay for holidays!

Must be at least 21 years of age, mature and responsible.

Must have a reliable vehicle with insurance and clean driving record.

Must have a cell phone with texting and internet capabilities.

Must have midday 11 AM -3 PM availability with some availability for pet sitting shifts.

Must be comfortable with and able to work with many breeds and personalities of dogs as well as cats.

Should have some paid animal experience or volunteer work with shelters/rescues.

Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to put pet parents at ease.

Must be comfortable communicating with pet parents regularly.

Must be trustworthy and pass a criminal background test.
