Students and families!

-Please keep in mind that we do still require a 48 hour notice of cancellation (outside of illness or emergency) in order for you to not be charged for your slot. This is written in the lesson agreement that all students/parents signed when beginning lessons.

- All students must wear closed toe shoes/boots, with a slight heel. Flat-bottomed footwear is not safe for stirrups! Message your instructor with any questions. This requirement is also written into the lesson agreement that all students have signed.

- Moving into 2023, no-show lessons will be a $25 charge (on top of lesson payment), after the first offense.

- Moving into the new year, we will be updating all liability and lesson agreement forms to be sure everyone is aware of all rules and requirements, and any new changes that may be made.

There’s lots of fun and games involved in horses, however, this is still your instructors’ livelihood and how we care for the lesson horses you all love so much! Keeping lesson slots full and running smoothly is the only way to keep this possible.

STUDENTS/PARENTS!

Tis the season! It’s getting COLD. Here’s a few tips/reminders about cold weather lessons:

1) Layers are your friend! Layers are the best way to be able to adjust our body temperature at various levels of activity.

2) Thin headbands, and thin “skullcap” style hats can go under helmets! OR, there’s tons of insulated helmet covers on Amazon and Etsy!

3) You CAN wear gloves when you ride. There’s many many options online for winter riding gloves, but thin, “sporty” type gloves are also great! The biggest tip to riding with gloves, is to make sure they fit well!

4) Leggings! Leggings/thermal under layers can go under jeans/breeches/jods and are a lifesaver!

5) Disposable hand warmers are a HUGE help once the weather is truly bitter! Amazon also has reusable options you can recharge like a cell phone!

Please remember while our facility is indoor, it is not heated. If you have any questions or concerns about purchasing any of these products, or cold weather riding in general, text your trainer! We’ve got your back!

Thank for for trusting us to provide education to you, as well as your equine counterparts.

Thank you for putting in long hours of work in the heat, cold, rain, snow, sun, and everything in between.

Thank you to all the horseshow moms and dads for learning how to do braids and buns, driving the miles, and remembering to pack the snacks.

Thank you for believing in the small business with big dreams and plans.

We love and appreciate you all. This year was unforgettable. We almost didn’t even get a show season, until some wonderful people and horses practically fell into our laps to make it possible. We made the most of it, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year. ❤️

It has been an absolutely INSANE few weeks around here, and unfortunately we have been a bit MIA on Facebook (and getting photos!). BUT! All horses and riders are continuing to make the most wonderful progress, and we will have a few more lesson slots with Kat opening up very soon! If you are interested in any of these slots- be on the lookout! There will be very few and they will go very fast.
