Dobbi Update: This afternoon Dobbi showed significant strength and resilience as he got up to walk and even sit for a treat! With one of his stab wounds so close to his spine, it was uncertain how it would affect his mobility. He sure proved today that nothing will hold him down! The staff reports that Dobbi has a good appetite and an unbelievably sweet personality. The doctors are hopeful that his drains will be able to be removed by the end of the week, as long as an infection doesn't develop or an unforeseen complication. Positive thoughts for only a few more days in the hospital! Despite all he has endured, he still shows that he loves and trusts people. He is a true survivor. Dobbi is in need of a new home where he can be loved unconditionally and finish recovering. We are hopeful, with our amazing community, we will find it! Dobbi's new beginning is just starting, and we can't wait for his happy ending. Dobbie is a 56lb mixed breed boy - more information to come as we get to know him better!
