is a Non-Profit, No Kill 501(c)(3) animal rescue that is dedicated to making a BIG difference in the lives of animals scheduled for euthanasia. Since our formation in 2005 we have successfully rehabilitated, spayed/neutered and adopted out over 7,000 animals. We believe education is the key to ensuring the well-being of companion animals, while helping to end the overpopulation, abuse and unwarran

ted euthanasia. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at a long, happy and healthy life. rescues puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds. We take great pride in the health, temperament and adoption experience for both the animals and adopters. We specialize in puppies 6 months and younger as they do require more time, care, and medical treatment than an adult dogs. This is because a puppy’s immune system is not fully developed and is more susceptible to catching diseases. We quarantine all animals for a minimum of 21 days to help stop the spread of once deadly diseases. All animals are vaccinated, wormed, made up to date on flea/heart guard prevention and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. About 99% of the animals that we take in are rescued from high-kill shelters. 1% are owner surrender. We are one of the few rescues that treat any and all illnesses including mange, parvo, distemper, corona, influenza, kennel cough, broken bones, liver shunts, etc. We also take in blind and deaf animals. No problem is too big or too small.

My name is 6 – 7, the most amazing 10 week old cattle dog mixed boy around.
And yes… before you ask… my foster family’s kids absolutely named me after the classic joke. Why? Because apparently I’m so irresistible that even 7 would be afraid of me… afraid I’d steal all the attention, that is.

I’m upbeat, goofy, and already winning hearts like it’s my full time job. I adore kids, big ones, little ones, loud ones, sticky fingered ones, all of them. I’m the kind of pup who thinks tiny humans hung the moon, dropped the snacks, and invented playtime just for me.

Meet Momma Luna.
A beautiful 2-3 year old Staffordshire mix with a heart that’s been broken and healed more times than it ever should have been.

She came to animal control with her single puppy, carrying the weight of neglect but still wagging her tail, still choosing love over fear.
Whoever had her before didn’t provide even the most basic care, but when Save A Life stepped in, her story began to change.

Today, Luna is safe.
She’s vaccinated, spayed, and on flea and heartworm prevention. Unfortunately, her test came back positive for heartworms, but please don’t let that stop you from seeing the beautiful soul she is.
Save A Life has committed to covering her full treatment, which will cost around $900.
Because to us and to anyone who meets her, Luna is absolutely worth it!

She’s housebroken, gentle, and endlessly affectionate. Luna adores kids, gets along with other dogs, and has the kind of calming presence that fills a home with peace.
