🐾 Congratulations to Tuck & Nala Morgan — November 2025 Pets of the Month 🐾

Tuck is an 8-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix and proud momma’s boy! He loves going for walks, car rides, and spending time outdoors. Tuck will do just about anything for a good snack! He also enjoys playfully teasing his little sister by swiping her toys and running off to “remodel” them.

Nala is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois whose absolute favorite activities are playing ball and tug-of-war! She’s super smart, knows tons of tricks and commands, and loves visiting the dog park or spending time outside—especially if it means she can pester her big brother!

Together, Tuck and Nala are champion snugglers who love to steal pillows (and all the bed space). Their family proudly says it best: “The best dogs are rescued ones!” ❤️

We’re closing out the week by celebrating our amazing Pack Leader Team — the crew that keeps our boarding and day-play guests happy, healthy, and having tons of fun! 💚

🐾 Meet Mia D. — Pack Leader Team Lead

A proud Florida native (with a short detour in Chicago!), Mia is a 12-year United States Air Force Veteran whose dedication and heart inspire everyone around her. 🇺🇸

She’s worn many hats — dancer, Disney character, even boxer while stationed overseas — but her biggest passion is caring for animals. After losing three beloved pets in one year, Mia entered veterinary medicine determined to learn, grow, and help others through their own experiences.

Today, she channels that compassion into her work and dreams of one day providing in-home hospice care for animals. When she’s not leading the pack, you’ll find her kayaking, fostering rescues, or transporting animals to their forever homes. 🛶🐾

Hello! I’m Mia R., a Pack Leader here at TOAH and a sophomore Pre-Vet student at UCF. 🐾📚

When I’m not studying or caring for our boarding pets, you’ll likely find me rock climbing, reading, or exploring the outdoors. I share my life with a sweet two-year-old cat named Milly and a nine-year-old golden doodle named Eve who still lives in my hometown of Tampa. 🐕‍🦺💛

Often described a gentle giant, Henry brings a calm, grounded presence to every patient he cares for. At 31, this Florida-born tech with Puerto Rican roots carries a quiet strength and deep compassion for all living things. 🌎💫

When he’s not at TOAH, Henry loves reading to explore new ideas and heading outdoors to see the world in color. His empathy, curiosity, and steady heart remind us daily that caring — whether for people or pets — is one of life’s simplest joys.

Hi, I’m Sam! I’m originally from Chicago, IL and moved to Florida a few years ago with my husband and our three fur babies. 🐶🐱

My veterinary journey began in 2008, and I proudly graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Fox College in 2013. I love that no two days in veterinary medicine are ever the same — each species brings its own unique lessons and challenges.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, tending to my growing plant collection, and creating art. 🎨🌿 I also have a special interest in wildlife rehabilitation — especially helping protect our beloved Florida manatees. 💙

🐾 Meet Glory!

I’ve been working in the veterinary field since I was 16, starting in general practice and spending over 20 years in emergency medicine. After raising my four amazing kids, I found the perfect work-life balance with the TOAH team. 💕

I’m a Central Florida native who loves kayaking, beach walks with my husband, and spending time with our lively household of dogs, cats, ferrets, snakes, and fish. 🎢🐾 Big fan of roller coasters — and of course, the incredible human-animal bond that makes this field so special!

🐉 Meet Brian!

Hi, I’m Brian — proud UCF alumnus (Go Knights! ⚔️) and longtime member of the veterinary field with over 10 years of experience.

At home, I rule the House of Dragons — home to two bearded dragons, a scaleless dragon, and a flightless pit dragon. 🐲

I love all things reptile and enjoy bringing my calm, steady energy to our team and patients every day.

I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician with 12 years of experience, mostly in small animal medicine but with some background in exotics as well. 🩺

At home, I share life with a Cairn Terrier and a Dachshund mix who always keep things lively! When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me listening to music or playing with my terrier. 🎶🐕

I love being part of a team that shares the same dedication and compassion for animals as I do.

Today we’re featuring two more amazing members of our TOAH family — Armani and Anna! Their skill, compassion, and dedication help keep our patients healthy and our hospital running strong. 💚

🐾 Meet Armani!

I’m Armani, a 26-year-old Chicago native and passionate veterinary nurse! When I’m not caring for animals, you can usually find me lost in a good fantasy novel or out exploring the great outdoors. 🌿📚

I’m also a bit of a plant enthusiast — I have over 24 thriving species at home — and I share my space with two very unique companions: a 4-pound frog and a monitor lizard! 🐸🦎

Outside of the clinic, I’m currently pursuing a degree in naturopathic medicine and love learning new ways to help both people and pets live their healthiest lives.

Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital is an inviting and comfortable environment.

We want your visit to Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital to be the best veterinary experience you ever had! We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and compassionate environment for you and your pet.

When you check in with our front desk you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members. A member of our veterinary staff will soon meet you in the lobby and bring you to an examination room. At this time we’ll ask a few questions and measure your pet’s vital signs – just like when you go for a visit to your doctor!

A Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital veterinarian will then meet you and your pet and spend some time talking with you to address your concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual treatment plan.
