On the right is the daddy dog, while the mommy is situated to the left. The former owner abandoned the dogs, leaving the pregnant mommy behind after loading up a U-Haul. Fortunately, a kind-hearted individual named Juan, who has a fondness for dogs and has rescued several small ones, took her in before she gave birth. The mommy is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, bearing a striking resemblance to our late Murphy. Her intelligence is equally impressive. Is anyone traveling between Oklahoma and Florida? We have a couple of interested parties for the pups and aim to transport them within the next couple of weeks. Any assistance would greatly impact the lives of these puppies. Unfortunately daddy disappeared we pray 🙏 he is safe

Bath day for Otis, our esteemed treat taste tester, has arrived. His family cleverly entices him with a favorite treat, which he confides to me is merely a ruse. They skillfully lure him into the tub with strategically placed treats, akin to a complimentary buffet. Otis plays along, indulging his family's delight in outsmarting him. Following the ordeal, he requires an extended nap in the Florida sun to unwind. Provided the resident black snake doesn't make an appearance, this relaxing interlude concludes the bathing and drying process. We confidently endorse PetKind Salmon treats, bearing Otis's seal of approval.

Popular pet food brands frequently use rendered foods and by-products in their formulations, marketing them as “specialty formulated diets” that offer balanced nutrition.

However processed foods laden with by-products and rendered ingredients may have inferior nutritional value, and are increasingly linked to serious chronic health challenges, such as digestive problems and chronic degenerative dis-eases like cancer.

Many commercial kibbles (even the expensive premium brands) are tainted with glyphosate, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and are 40%-60% carbohydrate (sugars). Glyphosate, a widely used herbicide, has been associated with cancer risks, while excessive sugar intake contributes to obesity, diabetes, and chronic inflammation.

Sadly, there are no mandatory labeling requirements for GMOs, hormones, chemicals pesticides or glyphosate in pet food, making informed choices challenging. The companies dedicated to providing GMO free foods and organic foods will make their claims on the label, offering transparency for pet parents.

You get the standard American diseases when you eat the Standard American Diet. The same is true for our pets. Food can heal or harm, and diet-related diseases (chronic noninfectious conditions) are at an all-time high for people and pets. We can never be vibrantly healthy eating dead (ultra-processed) food devoid of naturally occurring enzymes, antioxidants, polyphenols, and flavonoids. And while 67% of calories U.S. teens consume come from highly refined foods, most pets consume ultra-processed diets exclusively 💔. Most pets go a lifetime without consistent access to fresh, unprocessed foods except for lawn grass (often sprayed with glyphosate or other herbicides💀). It’s time to wake up to fast food marketing ploys; the quality, freshness, and adulteration of our pet’s food supply play into health and disease powerfully. Why are we letting the ultra-processed Pet Food industry convince pet parents that feeding dry food for a lifetime is the healthiest way to nourish our animals? 🤯

Fortunately, Lucy provided crucial assistance by bringing her cellphone and persistently licking her face until she regained consciousness to call for aid. This extraordinary deed likely saved her owner's life, underscoring the immense value of such devoted companions. As a token of appreciation, Debbie presented Lucy with a frozen yogurt, acknowledging her deservingness of numerous special treats.
