At Square Dog, we believe that setting the foundation for a positive grooming experience starts with a calm, supportive environment—and that begins the moment your puppy walks through our door. We understand that grooming can be a new and sometimes overwhelming experience, which is why we take special care to make their first time as smooth as possible.

To ensure a relaxed atmosphere, we schedule puppies for either the first or last appointment of the day. This way, they can enjoy a quieter space with fewer distractions, which helps them feel more at ease. We also recommend starting early—ideally, as soon as your puppy is ready. The earlier they’re introduced to the sounds, sensations, and routines of grooming, the more comfortable and confident they’ll become over time.

We take a gentle, gradual approach by offering puppy trims and mini grooms. These smaller, shorter sessions help puppies adjust to the grooming process without overwhelming them. Step by step, we build their trust and slowly work them into full grooms as they become more accustomed to the experience.

At Square Dog, we take pride in our thoughtful approach, ensuring that each puppy is treated with the utmost care and patience. We’re dedicated to making their first grooming visits enjoyable so they can grow up to love their regular grooming sessions, making every visit a positive one for both you and your furry friend!

At Square Dog Grooming Company we believe every pet who walks through our door deserves the royal treatment. We will never make you pick and choose from an a la carte menu. Our grooming services are all inclusive so you won’t have to worry about being charged extra to get the extra special touches like our blueberry facial scrub or a painted nails pedicure.

We understand that not every owner and pet will have the same needs.While some may benefit from an express, straight through, grooming session; others may need to take short breaks. This is especially true of senior and special needs pets. We will always do what is in the pet’s best interest and accommodate accordingly.

Your pet will never just be another appointment. They will receive the individual attention and care as if they were one of our own. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to give us a call or stop by the salon, we’d love to meet you!
