This is THE greatest movie dog ever. Duncan and Rin Tin Tin 1 pioneered action dogs. If you know film techniques look at how many ONLY master shots were done. The majority of the stunts he did are too dangerous for modern trainers to try and pull off. Also, there weren't dog training, videos, DVDs, books or schools--Duncan devised most everything himself (and collab with other pioneers). Many dogs later in film did some of the feats you see Rin Tin Tin doing (the escaping from the kennel, is an example). This is 100 years ago and you won't find any of the internet popular dog trainers capable of doing this on a movie set. As the unmatched trainer of the Jedi Dog Master Challenge is it any wonder that my idols have been Duncan and Rin Tin Tin?
