Looking for a Special Home for a Special Little Girl
I recently took in the sweetest little senior hedgehog, and she’s completely stolen my heart. She’s been through a lot — her previous living conditions weren’t the best, and she’s still healing from a fungal infection. Her fur is stained yellow, she’s thin, and she’s losing some teeth, so she’s currently on a soft diet.
There’s also a chance she may have cancer, but honestly? You’d never know it. She’s still full of life! She’s gentle, easy to handle, and just wants a cozy place to feel safe and loved.
My plan was to let her live out her life with me, but with my school schedule picking up, I know I won’t be able to give her the time and care she really deserves in a senior home. So I’m looking for someone with experience — someone who gets the sweetness and the challenges of caring for a geriatric hedgehog, and who’s willing to give her a loving home for however much time she has left.
