Today, August 17 is national Nonprofit Day. In honor of today, we want to thank all of our hardworking & dedicated volunteers, foster families, and our many supporters!

We are looking for table sponsors. $500 will get you a table for 8 guests, appetizers, 2 drink tickets inside your SCHS tumbler for each guest and your logo on our flyer.

UPDATE 2:After an overwhelming response to our request for help, Rescue 55021 received multiple applications for people interested in Chubba in the past 24 hours!! ❤️❤️ The rescue is currently reviewing applications and interviewing potential homes! We just might have insider information that his first meet and greet with a potential new family went super well today! 😉. Stay tuned as he navigates finding the perfect home thanks to all of your help!!

UPDATE: Urgent help needed! The police department makes all decisions regarding impounded animals. They scheduled Chubba to be euthanized today, but we stepped in and asked for at least the weekend to continue to try and find a foster or a foster-to-adopt this wonderful dog. He deserves a chance! Rescue 55021 wants to help but they don’t have a place for him unless someone is willing to take him in! PLEASE HELP!

✨✨✨Meet Chubba! This handsome guy is searching for someone to give him a chance at a new home! Brought to us on impound, Chubba is ready to find his new family, but we need your help to find someone to foster him! Chubba is a fun loving rott/aussie mix approximately 3 years old. He has a big personality and needs a home without small kiddos.

Rescue 55021 agreed to take him in if we can help find him a foster or a foster to adopt! Foster-to-adopt means you can take him home and test him out before committing to an adoption! He deserves a loving family of his own! Rescue 55021 can’t help unless someone steps up and the impound is running out of options for him!

We did it! We reached and exceeded the 150 registrations. As promised, our board president, Liane, will be at the .5K event tomorrow dressed as a cat. Here’s a sneak peak. To see the rest of it, stop by Mineral Springs Brewery on Saturday. Breakfast food truck will be there at 9. Registration starts at 10:15. The Run/walk starts at 11. Plus mimosas and Bloody Marys. Sounds like a blast! See you there!

If the number of registrations reaches 150 by 7pm on Friday, June 21, our board president, Liane, will be there dressed up as a cat.

But if the number of registrations reach 200 by that time, she will also lap up her beer from a cat water dish. I, for one, really want to see this! So if you’ve already signed up, please tell your friends to sign up.

We had a blast Saturday at the co****le tournament. Wolfpack Baggers raised a little over $2800 for our shelter fund!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us! Hope to see you all again for the next tournament!!
