I love this travel case by and it has so many uses. It’s great for using up scraps in your stash. You can get really creative with color. I use it for my sewing tools and keep it next to my machine. It can be used for crayons, craft items, office items, etc. in the car, school, wherever you are going. What would you use it for?

Here is a great summer idea for kids and for your fabric stash - Library bags! We used the easy to follow pattern from https://www.jedicraftgirl.com/2018/05/library-tote-bag-tutorial.html
With just a little modification so we could quilt the bags. We laid out the panels for quilting and added initials. See your local library for summer programs.

This was so special. My mother in law Priscilla Leavstrom did the top of the quilt. I got the patches on, then we quilted the layers together, got a label for the back and then finished with the binding. Trakr is a very special service dog that we all love.

My friend Susan was commissioned to piece this quilt top of Doctor Who's Tardis. We, at The Backwards Bobbin, turned it around in a couple of days so it could be given as a gift for Christmas. Susan embroidered the words, which looks fabulous. We used the Vortex quilting pattern which is fitting for the Doctor Who theme.

We love helping people finish quilts and this was a special quilt that was finished after the giver had passed away. It is fabric from the Quilt Minnesota 2014 Exclusive Fabric Line by Barb Tourtillotte for . We used the Lulu Flower pattern from . The finished quilt was lovely.

Check out this gorgeous T-shirt quilt. It has yellow daisies in the corners with some custom quilting on the t-shirt squares. We used Loops and Blooms from for the overall quilting. It turned out amazing! A few of my favorite squares are the tie dye sports shirt, Pb, crazy train and the softball shirt with buttons.

Sorry for the long hiatus! We will start sharing again all the wonderful quilts we have had the privilege to long arm quilt.
This is a lovely quilt that had a cabin theme. The 2 borders different designs for a double frame. Each square was stitched around and we added a few interest items in a few of the squares.

We are delighted to share with you a recent project. The top was sewed in 2017 then almost forgotten about. It follows a Jelly Roll Race 2 pattern with a fun quilting pattern including a sun and lizard to go with the bright, bold colors. We love it!

Happy Monday! We are thrilled to share this custom quilt, made for our nephew, that has taken us 3 years to complete. We used Gears by Rob Appell. The pattern is for a wall hanging but used it for a queen size quilt. In the end, it was a little bigger than we thought it would be- math!

For this piece, we used Northcort fabrics and the gears are from Kona fabrics. We used Innova Dark Gray thread for the top and steam punk gears from designer Mike Fountain found at intelligentquilting.com. The Gears are free motion quilted.

This piece was very special for us to finish as our mother, and co-founder of The Backwards Bobbin, helped us with it in its early stages. After she passed in 2019, we had a hard time picking it back up, but we are so glad we did.

Continuing with our custom creations, we made this runner for our niece to hang on her bed. We made it with quilt scraps that she loved to carry around when we had a family quilting party a couple years ago. We have been working with the lettering on the Innova AutoPilot Mach3 and are pleased with how it turned out.

We are excited to finally share a new custom quilt we've been working on and finished in December. This is a quilt we made for our two year old nephew. We used the Trees quilting pattern from with Innova dark gray thread. We chose to circle the appliques but added our nephew's initials on the center bear.

Now that its been gifted, we are so excited to finally share this custom quilt we quilted. This uses the Squares Pattern by and has a diamond pattern for the border. We also included some custom stars on squares to finish this piece off. Quilted with Light Grey thread. We absolutely love how this quilt turned out.

We recently quilted this beautiful quilt made by Susan Routh, our biggest encourager. It was an absolute delight seeing this come together. We quilted this with a gray Innovatech thread using the meander pattern.
