When someone tells you that you have beautiful eyes...
I dont think we've been properly introduced...my name's Cosmo. I like naps and food.

Sneak Peek of Nyx's babies ๐
Anybody want to see what hedgehog courtship looks like? Harvey, the darker one, is making all the squeaks in this video chasing after the female, Tic Tac. It is pretty standard for hedgehog males to "sing" to seduce their ladies. Persistence is key ๐
Enjoying our two new girls....Ember and Tic-Tac ๐
Walmart is upping their hedgehog game
Someones got their cuteness on point today ๐ฏ๐ฏ Our lil guy is just two weeks old, too cute to do anything but yawn and slurp.
There almost a month old!
Baby Hedgehogs! Aka hoglets. Very cute, they are actually starting to look like hedgehogs and are about 8 days old. We didn't seperate the mama, Nyx, from her litter, she was out of the nest takin a nap. She likes to sleep in the nest with them all day though. We should be able to pick them up in 3 or 4 days. ๐๐
If anyone wants to get on the Premium Waiting List there are two more spots open for this litter. Go to our website and click on Waiting List under Quillery & More. Then click on the hedgehogs face.
A very dirty Cosmo. Cant say I dont love his bathtime.
Some Hedgie Hygiene Info: Hedgehogs can get pretty dirty by bathtime, since the place they poo the most in is there wheel. Not charming to say, but it's true. Hedgehogs can run miles a day in there wheels, so their feet and wheels end up gross fast. Pet friendly wipes are good for every other day on feet, but you don't want to bath them more often than every other week because it can easily dry out their quills. You can use kitten or baby shampoo for washing up, and a toothbrush for brushing quills.
If a Hedgehogs skin gets dry you can use a couple drops of olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, or pierce a capsule of vitamin E or flaxseed oil for a few drops on their skin. You can also add a couple drops to their food. Treatree and grapeseed oil is extremely poisonous to hedgehogs, so dont use regular skincare products. You can make you own hedgehog skin care mixture by mixing flaxseed oil, lavender essential oil and aloe vera oil. Lavender is a natural mite deterrent, plus it smells good โ.
