If you’re looking to build confidence in yourself and your dog this is the class you need to consider.. They do awesome work. I am not in anyway shape or form connected with Liberty. I just know that they do great work and are great people, and it is a great learning opportunity for you and your dog and a way to meet new people.

Bootcamp is November 8th and 9th! Combined group sessions on Saturday the 9th! Please visit the training calendar on the Class page on Libertydogcamp.com. Click on the class for details!

We are also holding regular group sessions on Saturday, November 16th and details are on the calendar.

I got over a hundred birthday wishes from friends and acquaintances. But I got one in messenger that means a whole lot to me. So I want to share it. I really want my healthcare friends to read it and understand it. Even if you’re having a terrible day someone’s day may be worse and you can touch them or heal them in ways that are immeasurable. So always be nice and compassionate.

I need to apologize to you all. I have been spread really thin since January. With changes at my full time job, classes for changes, and working on finishing my classes for my Animal Behavior classes and working on Loki certifications. I have not been able to help others with their dogs. The near future isn’t looking any better. But hopefully by summer I’ll be able to get a schedule down to work with other dogs.

Hadn’t worked Loki since the weekend tracking class. So 2 solid weeks of being a potato. Today we met up with Zahrah and her owner Kelsey and done some impulse control. First time those two had met. They done great at ignoring each other. We visited the POW Memorial and Gold Star memorial at Smothers Park here in Owensboro Kentucky

With work and school my dogs have been getting neglected. So today we worked on place with Lola (female boxer) and refreshed the ever hyper Loki (male German shepherd).

This is Freya she is a 12 week old German Shepherd her owners Andrew and Kelsey brought her to see me. I think we will be seeing a lot of her in the next few weeks

Loki hadn’t done any work since we spent a weekend tracking. So we went and done some impulse control and met up with Zahrah and her owner Kelsey. Then Loki finished up with a visit to the ER to see the nurses.

Good training this weekend with AMPWDA. Getting everyone certified in mantrailing. If you think a dog can’t track in the wind. You would be wrong. Test day we had 30mph gusts.

Tracking with the dogs: Went this morning to Panther Creek park with Daviess County Search and Rescue to learn some tracking with Denise Ball as the lead instructor. Special appearances by Loki my German Shepherd; Bella the Catahoula Curr; Zena the corgi corgasaurus; and let’s not forget Scout a Lab mix

Loki got to see a helicopter up close. Good exposure to noise and new things. Not sure if the shake was due to the rotor wash of because he was a little stressed. If it was stress he recovered well and approached the helicopter with ease.

This is Blue she’s a little lover dog. She came to visit me today and we worked on confidence and place/stay. She works really hard for just a little praise.
