Two of our Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky foster puppies will be swabbed for dna testing through Embark tomorrow! Can you believe they will be four weeks old??

As they grow, so does the need for potty pads, towels, blankets and even tiny puppy toys! Remember: if you make a donation and then have the closest guess of what breeds are in the mix, you could win a $50 gift certificate!

Christmas photos will be ready to pick up Thursday afternoon! They are $10 each and will be 5x7 prints. We are so sorry we couldn’t get them finished up before Christmas, but we hope you will find that they are worth a short wait!

We've always been huge fans of our local rescue, Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky. So when our owner and GM/vet tech were asked if we could help with a pregnant Shiba Inu, they jumped right in and said yes (because yes, they are that crazy 🤣).

Last week, our foster mama gave birth to six beautiful puppies. Five girls, one boy! The big mystery is - who was the father (or were the fatherS 🫢)??

Knowing the breed mix of these puppies will help us find them the right homes, so we would like to DNA test two pups through Embark once they are old enough. In the meantime, we could use your help!!

1. Bring in a donation for SparKy (such as funds toward the DNA tests, funds for cleaning supplies, towels, paper towels, puppy food, potty pads, beds, puppy toys, or blankets).

2. Tell us your guess on the breed mix of the puppies either in the comments here or when you come in with a donation (we will write it down). You will get one guess each time you donate.

(You can also guess without making a donation but those guesses will not be entered in the contest.)

The first two people who donate AND have the closest guesses will receive a $50 gift certificate toward any service at Paws Town!

Here's a hint: Most mixes aren't 50/50 and there is always the chance mama isn't full Shiba Inu.

We will post new pictures periodically, but remember - the winners will be the FIRST ones who donate AND have the closest guesses!!

Due to a busy boarding week and to give our staff ample time with their families for the holiday, we will be closed for daycare on the following dates: November 27th, 28th, and 29th.
