Good Morning!
We are aware that there have been issues with clients calling us, and getting a busy tone. After speaking with Spectrum, we now know that they are aware of the issue, that it is specifically AT&T clients, it is in multiple locations, and that the issue is on the AT&T side. Engineers on both sides are working towards solving the issue, but they currently do not have an estimated resolution time. We are so sorry for the difficulty this adds in contacting us!! ⭐ ATTENTION CLIENTS⭐

You may have heard or read about the “mystery illness” that has been affecting dogs in other areas of the country. As far as we know, there have been no cases near us so far, but it's always best to be on the safe side in terms of mitigating risks.

This respiratory illness shares the same symptoms as canine/kennel cough: discharge from eyes/nose, cough, lethargy, etc.

Dogs who succumb to the illness often end up at the vet clinic already in distress and with pnuemonia. We fear that this is because owners assume it is canine/kennel cough (which clears up on its own in the majority of cases).

Just like canine/kennel cough, this illness also spreads through the air. All the cleaning in the world cannot eliminate the risk of an illness that spreads this way.

Doggie daycares, boarding facilities, dog parks, grooming salons, and even vet offices are riskier environments when it comes to illnesses like this one. The more dogs involved, the higher the risk. Effective immediately, we require that our clients do the following:

⚠️Do not bring your dog for services at Paws Town if he/she or another dog in your household has visited another dog facility or dog park within the last two weeks. For the safety of your dog, the dogs of others, and with respect for all facilities involved, please be honest. If we learn that you have disregarded this request, your dog will be suspended from receiving any service at our facility.

⚠️Do not bring your dog for services at Paws Town if you notice any signs of illness such as coughing, lethargy, runny eyes or nasal discharge from any dog in your household. Wait two weeks to monitor your dog, and do not resume coming to Paws Town until two weeks after symptoms have subsided. (We urge you to also schedule a vet visit during this time to be on the safe side.)

⚠️If you notice any of the above symptoms from any dog in your household and your dog has been at Paws Town within the past two weeks, please call, email, or message us to let us know. This provides us with critical information that helps us monitor the situation to further mitigate the risks.

As always, we appreciate your understanding and want only the best for you and your pets. Please let us know if you have any questions at all, and we’ll share any relevant updates on this issue as we learn of them.

Everyone is just waiting for Santa Paws ☺️🐶🐱🐾 A couple of notices... ‼️We will be closing tonight at 6 (instead of normal 7) because of the holiday! ‼️We will NOT be having daycare all of next week due to staff being out! (Dec 26th through 31st). We will resume regular daycare on January 2nd! We will miss everyone, and be thrilled to see them beginning with the new year!!
