We were beyond shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic passing of one of the co-founders of Paws Town,, Madison Durham. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Madison, especially her husband and young boys. This is a tremendous loss for her family and anyone who knew her.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us in the Owensboro Living Best Of Owensboro. We once again received the Platinum Award for the Best Grooming and also the Best Boarding/Daycare. Thats 3 years in a row you all have voted us into the top spot and we can't thank you enough. We have built a great clientele of people who trust us to take care of their pups through consistently holding ourselves to a high standard of the quality work we provide. Awards like this show that hard work is being recognized. So again thank you to our great clientele for always showing up to support us with voting and just recommending us. We still get by on word of mouth and we hear from new clients and see the Facebook mentions from everyone who tells people who the best place in town is to take your pups!

***NOTICE ABOUT UPCOMING WINTER STORM*** It looks like we have quite a bit of snow approaching. We are planning to be closed tomorrow based on the weather predictions. If it doesn't snow, however, we will be open. The rest of the week will be questionable but we will let everyone know if we need to be closed and reschedule their appointments. Stay safe and warm

We are looking to hire one or two dependable people for our bathing area. If you are interested please message the page with your resume or email it to [email protected]

This is a Monday-Friday position. Start time is 8am every day and you will be finished between 2-4pm. You must be capable of safely lifting and assisting large dogs in and out of the tubs and onto the tables. You need to be capable of being on your feet most of the day and bending over quite a bit. Experience is not necessary but would be great. Just because you like dogs does not mean you will enjoy working with them.

We are a busy, fast paced salon. It gets loud. We do a lot of big dogs. The dogs p*e and p**p and we have to clean it up. There are huge eye boogers, impacted dirty ears, a**l glands and p**p stuck to butts. We have to clean that up. There is cleaning that has to be done every day once the dogs are all bathed and dry. If you are still interested after reading that, don't hesitate to get in touch!!

*** Notice about impending weather and Mondays appointments***

Hope everyone had great holidays. We are back in the shop and ready to go. However, if the winter storm hits as they have predicted, that could change. As of right now, they say Sunday into Monday for the snow/ice. So, if you have an appointment Monday and IF we get really bad weather, we will need to reschedule. If that happens and we have to close the shop, we will text you and let you know before your appointment time. Thanks and everyone stay safe!

A couple of sweet pups are up for adoption through Sparky rescue. We had these girls in the shop for grooming and they were so sweet. Honey was a little shy but came out of her shell pretty quick. Lilly didn't seem to have a shell, she loved everyone and everything. Both of these girls were so sweet. They deserve a good home where they can be loved and cared for properly.
