Our horses and riders had a great Zone 3 Finals to conclude the horse show! Everyone got ribbons in their respective finals. Highlights:

🥳Guchi Mojica and Hollywood's Eleven: 3rd and 5th in the Low Adult Hunters
🥳Rylan VanCourt and Fortitude: 5th Older Children's Hunter
🥳Brittani Godfrey and Gannon: 4th and 6th, Younger Adult Amateurs
🥳Lauren Greenfield Reck and Davenport Z: 7th, Older Adult Amateurs

Saturday highlights from WIHS Regional…

🌟 Rylan VanCourt and Fortitude won a class and were reserve champion in the Children’s Hunters - they will go on to show at WIHS on Monday night!

And in the Special Hunter, out of 50+ entries…
🌟 Guchi Mojica and Hollywood were 3rd and 7th
🌟 Claire Caust-Taylorust-Taylor’s Pluto LWF were 2nd
⭐️Ashley Nokes ReidenauerReidenauer and Delta Blues were 7th

Friday report from the horse show! 

🌟 Brittani Godfrey and Gannon were 4th in the modifieds and 6th and 8th in the Adults
🌟 Guchi Mojica and Hollywood were 3rd and 5th in the Low Adults
🌟Ashley Nokes Reidenauer and Delta Blues had great rounds in low adults
🌟 Lauren Greenfield Reck and Davenport Z had great rounds in the Adults

Our horses had a strong start with Nicole Moran at the WIHS Regional Horse Show and Zone 3 championship!

🤩Fortitude won two classes and was champion in section A of the USHJA 3’ out of 40
🤩Davenport Z was 3rd, 5th, and 8th in the USHJA 3’ and 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in the 3’3” Greens
🤩Gannon was 6th in the USHJA
🤩Monroe Doctrine was 2nd, 3rd, and 8th in the 3’ Thoroughbred Hunters

We also loved seeing the Urban Ridge Farm brick, a gift from our wonderful clients, on the Upperville showgrounds.

'Til next year, Maryland Horse and Pony Show! Urban Ridge had a successful Friday-Sunday in the show ring. Some highlights:
👏 Hollywood's Eleven and Guchi Mojica were 3rd and 4th in a competitive Local Hunter and 7th & 8th place finishes o/f out of 40 in the Low Adult Hunter
👏Gannon and Brittani Godfrey were 4th in the Younger Adults with an 86.5
👏Fortitude and Rylan VanCourt were 7th (with an 83 score), 7th, and 8th in the Older Children's Hunter
👏Delta Blues and Ashley Nokes Reidenauer were 4th o/f in a huge Low Adult division
👏 MTM Snowday was 7th in Local Hunter and had great trips in the Children's Hunters with Rylan VanCourt.
👏 Monroe Doctrine and Catherine Tarcu were 5th in the TB model and 6th o/f. Monroe was also 5th with Catherine's son in the Leadline
👏Davenport Z and Lauren Greenfield Reck had beautiful trips in the Adults and were 8th in the u/s
👏 Pluto LWF had great rounds in the Adults with Claire Caust-Taylor and was 7th with Cassidy Urban in the Low Children's
👏 Ego and Chelsea DiPeppe were 7th, 9th, and 9th in the jumpers
👏Bliksem and Amanda Griffin had beautiful rounds in the Younger Adults
👏Luric and Anne Foss made great progress show ring together in the 2' division
👏Monroe Doctrine and Josie Fletcher made their own great progress in the Low Children's Hunter

Urban Ridge was also happy to support the show and treat exhibitors to a weekend ice cream party. Congrats to all!

It was our great honor to award the Holly VanCourt Amateur Sportsmanship Trophy to Tillie Hall at Maryland Horse and Pony Show today. Bittersweet of course, as Holly is dearly missed, but we’ll always keep her name alive with this perpetual trophy. Topped, obviously, with a pug. 🩵 And Holly's beloved Fortitude was happy to join the photo op!

It was a great Thursday at Maryland Horse and Pony Show.
💥Fortitude was 4th in the Performance with an 86
💥Pluto LWF was 8th and 8th in the USHJA 2’6
💥Ritmo Zapoteco was 2nd and 1st with 82 and 85 and Reserve Champion
💥Gannon was 5th in the USHJA 3’
💥Davenport Z was 4th in very competitive 3’3" Greens hack and jumped great rounds
💥If I Can Dream had excellent rounds in the USHJA 2’6"
💥Ego was 7th in the .80 jumpers

Derby day was a success for the team! Nicole Motes and Fortitude were 12th out of 50+ Rachel B. Kennedy and Hillary Obrecht Fleming’s Ritmo Zapoteco finished 7th. In the JR/AM derby Guchi Mojica and her horse Hollywood’s Eleven were 3rd out of 30+.

It was a great 2 weeks at Lexington spring premiere and encore. Some highlights include:
⭐️If I Can Dream & Rennie champion and reserve at their first show together ⭐️Luric and Anne jumped their first course at a show ⭐️Hollywood’s Eleven and Guchi won the derby both weeks and the classic ⭐️Rylan was best children’s hunter rider ⭐️Davenport Z and Lauren had excellent ribbons in the adults & did their first derby ⭐️Delta Blues and Ashley were second in a competitive hack ⭐️Monroe Doctrine was champion and reserve in the TB along with ribboning in the derby with Catherine ⭐️Hollywood’s Eleven and Hillary won classes and reserve champion after a 35 year hiatus of showing ⭐️Zac Efron traveled to his first show and came home with a blue ⭐️MTM Snowday won a class ⭐️Kat made a comeback to the show ring ⭐️Piper had a blast in leadline ⭐️Nicole was awarded best pro rider
