ADOPTION UPDATE!
Ms.Moo has found her furever family and living her best life!!❤️🐾 this sweet girl has quite the rescue story!
Moo’s mom, August, had originally been brought into rescue after she was found roaming around several streets in Quarryville. During her spay appointment the vets discovered she was still lactating, which meant she had kittens somewhere! Our amazing volunteers along with several amazing people who had been following August’s story rushed out in search of kittens we honestly weren’t even sure were still alive. 😭 after a few hours of going door to door and searching through sheds, we were starting to lose hope.. we decided to bring August out in hope her meows would catch the attention of the kittens..sure enough after walking around for a bit, the kittens (Daisy and Moo) came running out of a shed! It was the best family reunion!

Since then August and Daisy have both found there furever families AND now it’s Moos turn!

This sweet girl is off to a whole new life and we can’t wait to hear about all of her new adventures!

AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU to and his daughter Yasmin for saving the day and truly delivering a Christmas miracle!❤️🐾❤️

With the extremely cold temperatures, There have been a ton of requests for emergency shelters for strays
We have been working hard to gather supplies so that our friend Megan Clossey Preston can make them but we needed a way to transport it all to her by tonight😭Within minutes of posting for help Larry messaged! He was at our main foster home with his company truck within 15 minutes to transport all the supplies!
We really can’t thank Larry & Yasmin enough! ❤️🐾❤️🐾

Indy is about 2 1/2 years old and just the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet!
She is FIV Negative , up to date on vaccines and spayed 🐾
Indy has been with us for almost 10 months! We would absolutely love to find her furever family before the new year!

We have a new recruit hanging out with our friends Pet Supplies Plus - Avondale, PA!
Dino is an adorable, diluted orange male. He had a pretty bad eye infection when he was a baby, that has caused some vision loss in his left eye but it hasn't stopped him from living his best life as a playful kitten. He is a super sweet purring machine who is ready for his forever family this holiday season ❤️

He lived in a foster home with other cats, dogs and kids so he's ready for anything.
He is neutered and up to date on all his Vaccines. Adoption fees are $40 this month only!!

OUR DIRECTOR IS FINALLY HOME!!!
Scallywag co director Wayne is finally back from his 10 month deployment !🐾❤️ all the recruits are sooo happy to see him!!
There will be a hold on intakes for about a week in order to allow our directors Veronica & Wayne to settle in and take care a few of a few medical emergencies that have recently come up with some of our newest recruits!
We will get back to our usual ASAP!🐾❤️

This sweet little girl is searching for her furever home! She can be a bit timid at first but once she warms up she loves to play! ❤️ we believe she is about 4 months old.
Birdie is UTD on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, flea medicated and FIV negative 🐾❤️

In honor of National Cat Day, we would love to introduce our recruits Meeko & Maisie! They are a bonded kitten duo ready to join your Furever Family! They both love to play, and snuggle together when they rest. Maisie is a gentle queen and Meeko is the sillier of the two. They both will be spayed/neutered this week and once recovered, ready for a home together!❤️🐾

This sweet girl is looking for her Real furever home!!🐾❤️
Poor Nala was adopted as a small pup and surrendered back to us about a month ago. It was in no way her fault, the family just realized they don’t have the time to commit to train/raise a puppy..unfortunately no matter how hard we try to pick the right family and ensure they are ready and willing to take on all of the responsibilities that puppy raising entails, we sometimes don’t get it right😔…but we are determined to find Nala’s PERFECT FUREVER HOME !❤️🐾

This sweet girl is about 30 pounds of pure happy energy!! She absolutely loves attention and gets along very well with cats, pigs, children, and other dogs. She tends to be very submissive with the bigger pups. She is a huge fan of toys and is always looking to play! She still has to work on some puppy manners but Nala is crate trained and currently working on basic commands. This girl is very food motivated and learns quickly!
Nala is about 11 months old therefore we don’t think she’ll get much larger. According to a genetic test done on a littermate, we believe Nala is a heeler /lab mix!
She is spayed, UTD on vaccines & microchipped

PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US. We really are doing the best we can😭 Adoptions are super slow and surrender requests are through the roof! Most (if not all) Rescues are already beyond overwhelmed with animals in need..we are flooded with emails, voicemails, texts and Facebook messages every day with requests to take in more! Many of our volunteers are known within their communities/neighborhoods and are regularly approached by people or have even had people show up unannounced at their homes with animals! As a volunteer/foster based rescue, we are extremely limited to the number of animals we can take in at a time and even more limited by lack of funds and resources! Our volunteers work tirelessly to help in every way they can BUT they are human ..aside from the time they dedicate to taking care of all the animals in their care, they are full time workers, full time parents, they have full time jobs, families and responsibilities outside of rescue that they need to take care of as well. We have one director who is deployed overseas and our other director, who typically handles the day to day operations, recently started a new job and is no longer working from home full time therefore much less time flexibility. Please be patient with us if we don’t immediately reply to a message! PLEASE BE KIND TO OUR VOLUNTEERS!🙏 we are exhausted and just as frustrated that we can’t help more than we already do. THIS IS JUST ONE DAYS WORTH of unanswered texts and missed calls from our directors phone😭 We understand the frustrations but We promise we are not intentionally ignoring you. We aren’t purposefully taking too long to respond AND we absolutely hate when we have to turn someone away or tell you that there is a mile long waitlist to surrender or TNR. We really do want to help any way we can but we are human and there’s only so much we can do at a time. 🐾😭
