Sunset Farms is located in Oxford North Carolina, we offer boarding both stall and pasture as well as riding lessons for any age, we also host monthly horse shows at our facility.

You guys asked and we have made it happen! Sunset Farms will be having their last horse show of the season on November 23rd. All breeds and riding abilities are welcome. We have classes for everyone.

It's finally fall y'all so you know what that means.... great weather for a horse show and of course some fall activities! Which means Sunset Farms is ready to host a great time for all OCTOBER 26 2024!

Registration for the horse show starts at 8:30 am the show will start at 10:00am

The fall festival will start at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm or until the crowd dies down.

Our horse show will be supporting a member of our barn family that has been diagnosed with lung cancer, bring cash y'all we will be doing a 50/50 raffle for the family.

Our fall festival will be supporting the efforts to send supplies to western North Carolina from the devastation they recently had from the hurricane. We will also be donating some of the items to our local Granville County animal shelter.

** Important Reminder -- The Sunset Farms Horse Show originally scheduled for October 19th has been rescheduled for October 26th. **

Come on out to Sunset Farms on October 26th and join us for a fun filled day. We will start our day with a Horse Show starting at 10:00am, the gates will open at 8:30am.

Then beginning at 5:00pm we will have trunk or Treat, this is open to everyone not just horse show participants. Admission is a donation to our local animal shelter.

** Sunset Farms Horse Show Update **

Our horse show will now be held on October 26th. Please take a look at the class list as we have changed a few of the classes.

Be sure and pre-register! This helps us determine what we need to buy for the gaming classes and it saves you time and money.

Don't Forget we will still have the 50/50 Raffle to benefit a member of our horse show family that has recently been diagnosed with lung Cancer. This will greatly help this family with expenses as they travel back and forth to Duke for treatments. If you cannot attend and would still like to help this family out let me know.

Attention:
Sunset Farms would like to announce that the show orginally scheduled for October 19th has been changed to October 26th. We will stull be having Trunk or Treat that evening. We will repost the class list and pre-registration form hopefully tomorrow.

Our class list for the October 19th Horse Show is finally complete. We did our absolute best to meet the requests of everyone.

We will have our halter/model classes and rail classes beginning at 10:00am.. We then take a break for lunch and begin our gaming classes around 12:00 or 12:30pm.

Please pre-register so that we can know what we need to purchase for the gaming classes.

Also, Trail Obstacle will have a few additions.

Don't forget we will be having a 50/50 raffle to assist a member of our barn family and a frequent attendee of our horse shows as they begin their battle with lung cancer. This will help them as they travel back and forth for treatments and adjust to having only one income. If you normally do not attend our horse shows but wish to help out, message me for how you can.

Sunset Farms will continue to collect donations to assist those in western North Carolina that have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. Donations can be dropped off at our barn located at 2165 Sunset Road in Oxford, NC (this is our home address, but the barn is the driveway beside the house - there is a sign that says Sunset Farms).

The devastation in Western North Carolina is unreal and absolutely heartbreak. So many people have totally lost everything. Supplies are running low and they are in desperate need of basic supplies and water. People are also in need of supplies for their animals, whether its dogs, cats, cows, horses, pigs, etc.

Sunset Farms in Oxford, NC wants to extend a helping hand. We have people willing to help transport these items to the western part of our state. We will be collecting water, diapers, wipes, non perishable food items, personal hygiene items, and blankets for humans.

In addition we will be collecting the following items for animals in Western North Carolina: dog food, cat food, horse feed, livestock feed, horse halters, hay, leashes, collars, etc.

Our list is not limited to the above list. There are so many needs we will help get whatever we can to the right places.

You can bring to our barn located beside 2165 Sunset Road. You will see the sign that says Sunset Farms. Someone is here most days until 7:00pm. Feel free to text or call. If you drop off your items now and want your little ones to attend our fall festival let us know and they will be admitted for free.

We will have a 50/50 raffle at our October 19th gaming show in order to support a member of our barn family that has recently been diagnosed with Stage Four Metastatic Lung Cancer. We want to help this family by helping relieve some of the financial burden this will place on them as they go from two incomes to one while they undergo chemo and radiation.

If you cannot attend the show and want to help, feel free to message me for a way to donate. At Sunset Farms no one fights alone.

Sunset Farms in Oxford, NC is excited to announce our Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat Event scheduled for October 26th. We will have games and of course Trunk or Treat. Please share and help get the word out.

*. Anyone is welcome to drop of donations as well. We would love to fill a small trailer.

*. Also, anyone willing to decorate their car for trunk or treat or donate candy and small prizes please send us a message. We want this to be a free event for our Granville County Community to enjoy.

Today one of the days I love the most, all of the hard work you put in shows. Baileys first time ever with a saddle on and her first time with me ever putting all of my weight on her. I am so ready to watch this girl grow.

Now that I have recovered from the horse show Saturday I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that came out and supported me. It has been so much fun to get to see everyone come together and have a good time. If it wasn't for everyone's support this would never be possible. We can wait to have many more this year and we are starting to plan on doing something very fun in the future and we will post once we get everything together and get the dates set. Again thank you all for your support and coming out and having a great time!
