I just finished pulling the last 40ish orders currently in the shop (all orders except the ones that came in yesterday). I super appreciate all the support during the sale and also appreciate everyone's patience with shipping! I did not expect the sale to be so crazy! You guys are so amazing! Hailey is definitely getting to splurge on her prom dress.

As soon as I get the kiddo started on his school work I'm going to pack everything up and get labels printed! They'll be in the mail this afternoon! 🥰

This is my "OMG I just saw the price of the prom dress my daughter wants" sale 🤣 But, seriously - 20% off the entire shop! Today and tomorrow only!

This will likely be my last sale until the end of March because we have a small 3 day vacation/prom dress shopping trip planned in mid-March.

2.5 trays of Blue Hake went into the dehydrators this morning, plus 1/2 tray of organic cranberries, 2 trays of organic carrots, 1 tray of organic acorn squash and 1 tray of organic broccoli.

I'm in the office packing up orders and it's just a little stinky 🤣

As soon as these are done I'm putting in organic strawberries, organic purple cabbage (for the second time this week because our store had a bunch on sale), cooked organic purple barley and sprouted quinoa that I cooked with a couple of diced up beets and the juice from the cranberries.

I like to freeze the cranberries before dehydrating them, then I thaw them in the fridge overnight and crush them. It gives a better texture than if I dehydrated them whole. Rather than big sticky cranberries I get slightly crispy dehydrated pieces and I use all the juice from crushing them in the grain going into the mix so we don't lose any of the yummy-ness.

The small crabs ate so much of the fresh food last night! At one point there were 4 crabs piled into and around the dish...

The jumbo tank... DID NOT TOUCH IT 🤣 Both crabs walked by and checked it out but didn't even take a nibble. One crab ate foraging all night and one ate worm castings. Everyone else is still molting in that tank.

It is so funny how different the crabs are in different tanks!

The dehydrators got loaded up tonight! I saved some ingredients from my shop prep and the soup I made for the family today to make a little crabby dinner! Ground pork, organic carrots, organic acorn squash, and organic honeycrisp apples sautéed in avocado oil and topped with eggshells.

I had THREE molters come up today (yay!) so hopefully they enjoy the feast!

I'm finishing up editing pics of the new mixes I teased this week. I promise they'll be up tonight!

It's been a bit of a rough week so I'm running behind schedule. I'm finally starting to feel better though so a bigger restock should be coming soon. Autoimmune diseases can be a real pain... literally! I'm so thankful and grateful to have a job like this where I have some flexibility when I'm having a rough time. ❤️

Just snagged some goodies from our local Farmer's Market delivery service! I won't get this delivery until next Thursday because you order a week ahead but I'm so excited for it! The rainbow beets are a crab favorite!

The suet and beef bones are for my crabbies! I am so excited to try them. I've never seen farm made suet before on the website but it's all crab safe ingredients (beef tallow, seeds and grains).

I snagged some goodies for my family too - I'll post a pic in the comments of our small haul. 😍

Packing up order inserts tonight! I like to put aside a little bit of time every couple of weeks to make about 200 inserts so they are ready to go for orders. Each insert comes with my business card, an instruction sheet for feeding and storing foods, a cute sticker and a wooden spoon.

Tonight I'm watching cooking shows while I get the inserts ready! I need inspiration to name some new mixes 🤣

Just thought I'd pop in with an update! I had to take an unexpected day and a half off this week because of a pain flare up and my kiddo had a big project for his online school. I'm still working through orders though, I promise! I'll be fully caught up this weekend. I'm down to only about 16 orders to process from the sale and another 21 that came in the last 2-3 days. If you have a current order in the shop it'll be out in my Monday mail at the latest! ❤️ Sorry for the wait!
