Thank you one and all for offering to help track down my heart-sinking adventurous Stitch!!!!! Hoot actually tracked him to a deer carcass I spread lye on. I saw no tracks so I didn't believe Hoot (I should know better!) But Stitch found a leg that was not with the rest of the carcass. How he dragged it all the way home and across the stream, I have no idea. I found it this morning in his pen.

STITCH IS HOME!!!!
Sure he waited until I panicked, called HOMEAGAIN and started posting everywhere I knew I could. That dog is giving me GRAY HAIRS!!!!!!!!

Another Beginning Agility Class starting soon on Thursday evenings. Save a spot in this 4 week session of classes.
AGILTIY: Is your dog climbing the walls, bouncing off the furniture or just seems to have too much energy? Then agility is a great way for you to train your dog. In this class you learn the safe way to introduce your dog to the obstacles as you build your dog’s confidence and skill level. This is training for real life since you rarely have a leash on your dog when it is misbehaving.
FOUNDATIONS:
*Dogs are introduced to the concepts involved in performing all the agility equipment, without taking the risk of scaring the dogs.
*Dogs learn coordination.
*You are introduced to and becoming comfortable with using the clicker.
*You learn about your dog’s body language.

Believe it or not a recall is not a natural reaction for a dog. it is more fun to run the other way when called. This 4-week class will give you the basic steps needed to have your dog come (which is a prerequisite for taking a hike with your dog off leash). There will be homework because only through practice can good habits be formed.
