SNOW WAY! ...Another snow day here in Warren County, NJ! If you're like me, you cringe taking your dog out after all of that salt accumulates on the road. I also can't keep any booties on her feet. My current method is rinsing the paws and applying a moisturizing balm to the paw pads. Here is a DIY recipe, courtesy of Martha's site!

The ice, snow, and salt from pavements can do a number on your dog's paws. A homemade balm—of natural ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax—is the perfect ointment to keep his paw pads healthy this winter.
