When you want some mini calves for your petting zoo but don’t want to haul the big trailer down. This new owner came up with a plan and, with some slight modification by the resident engineer and a tractor, we were able to get these kids loaded and on the way to their new home.

After 19 years of breeding minature belties, we are getting out of the business. Our entire herd (except for our geriatric bull and a cow to keep him company) will be for sale. The fun part of catching swarms is the education. At one time there were 3 kids surrounding the box hoping to have a bee land on them. These girls were starting to build comb in the bush but were still quite friendly. I brought them home later in the evening.
