Our new barn mascot Rosey. During the day she is in the machine shed by the faucet and at night she is in the barn isle loading up on bugs from the night lights!

Sorry for the horrible grainy photo but it is dark and stormy here! Lexi had a beautiful dark spotted jennet this morning. Very tiny at only 19". Critter Haven Liefje Ezel. Dutch for darling donkey and her barn name will be Ezel (pronounced Azel with a long A) :)

I love Danny after his bath.....his coat is glowing! When I open his stall door and he rolls, my magical unicorn disappears. :) I can't believe he turned 22 this spring!!

Found a Black Widow Spider on a concrete bag in the barn! Really beautiful when you can see blue and green shining off her black.

Lexi has started her udder so we should see a baby in the next 4-6 weeks! Hope she doesn't foal during a hot streak. We have big fans that help but hot is hot :/

Lexi is our last jennet due this year. She is huge but no udder yet! I saw her in heat on August 9th, 3 months after her last breeding. She didn't have a spring baby so August it is! :)
