Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

While delivering pups this weekend, we got a flat tire. At least I was able to get the one pup to the airport but the other two had to be picked up from me while I waited 5 hours at the South Cellular lot at Orlando airport for a new tire. I was so impressed at how well behaved these two were while we waited ♥️ All three are now enjoying their new families. That’s what it’s all about.

GPA Gainesville has a 7 yr old boy that bounced. He'll be 8 in December. The former adopters are older/ in bad health and can't care for him any more. His racing name is BD Jasper (DOB 12/5/16). He is not cat safe. Jasper has separation anxiety and would prefer a human or humans who are home most of the time. The new adopter needs to live in a house, not a condo or apt with shared walls. He's up to date on all his shots and in good health. The group can work with you to get him where you are. For more information, please contact

Our Story

Our Story - We Believe in the Preservation of Pure Bred Dogs, especially the American Racing Greyhound

For 17 years we dedicated our lives to finding homes for retired racing greyhounds. During that time we saw the professional racing industry change for the better. With the reduction of breeding and the amount of adoption groups in the U.S., almost 100% of greyhounds are placed into loving homes after racing. One of the greatest American adoption success stories.

To find out more about the industry, we started visiting breeding farms, finishing farms and tracks in several different states in the U.S. What we found were happy dogs that were very well taken care of and loved. What we also saw was the enthusiasm these dogs have for the race. They are working dogs and they love their job! A few years ago, once we felt comfortable about the industry, we decided to buy our first racer. He was two months old and living on a farm in Iowa. Thankfully we lived close enough to visit him once a month for the first year of his life. At the age of one he was sent to a finishing farm, in Kansas, to learn how to race on a track environment. We were able to visit him and watch him at one of his schooling races. What we found, in the racing industry, were very transparent, caring people who love their dogs. Unless you go out and do your own research, you don't know the truth. In the meantime, we acquired a few dozen more racers. We will do everything we can to help to preserve professional racing in the United States. We love it and the dogs love it!

When we were adopting greyhounds, we were told that greyhound puppies were the worst. DON'T ever adopt a greyhound puppy! Now I believe this has been said over the years to get people to adopt an adult retired racer. Totally understandable when there were so many retired racers out there waiting for homes. Now that there isn't a dire need for homes for retired racers, more people have become interested in acquiring a greyhound puppy. Having raised 6 greyhound puppies over the years, we can assure you that greyhound puppies are no worse than any other puppy. As with any puppy, a tired puppy is a good puppy. They are smart and can learn just about anything.
