Happy birthday to retired sire Wildrose Chief! Chief is a heritage dog and the son of Wildrose sire Widgeon. His pups have eager personalities with high drives in the field. His littermate, WR Jax just visited Wildrose Oxford for the Double Gun and Sporting Classic!

Group Work Wednesday gives dogs the chance to learn how to coordinate retrieves and patience. An honoring dog is well appreciated in the field!

Sunday closed another great Double Gun & Sporting Dog Classic. Handlers showed off their skills in a variety of hunting scenarios. Comradery and passion for excellent dogs were shared by all participants.

Congratulations to Dan and WR Tara, winners of this year's Double Gun. Michael L. was awarded Best Dressed. WR Finn (H.) and WR Rip shared the title of Gun's Choice.

As one participant said, "It's hard having so much fun!"
