Meet Zuko, a reactive German Shepherd whose behavior is changing with timely and consistent corrections very quickly.
Often, reactive behavior stems from a lack of clarity about what’s acceptable. By providing immediate and fair consequences, we were able to help Zuko understand boundaries, and reduce his reactivity. We have much to do to complete his training but this is a great start.
Dogs need communication that makes sense to them. Sometimes, all it takes is the right environment and timely feedback to see the behavior change.
