Georgia von Gartz is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd. This beautiful red-and-black girl with the cutest fox tail is a sweetie. One of her favorite things is giving kisses to all her favorite people. Georgia is also socialized around other dogs. She greets dogs well on leash and during playtime; in playgroup, she prefers the company of dogs with a calmer disposition. Georgia has a nice, medium-energy level. She eagerly heads out on her walks and takes guidance well. At home she enjoys hanging out with you.

SAVING SADIE!

Sadie had been huddled by the side of the road in the dark, nothing more than a skeleton. She was still scared, but grateful for the help she got when she arrived at the rescue. Such a beauty, we knew she had come from a breeder just by looking at her, but we will never know how her life had gone so wrong! Her fur was a matted mess, and we could feel every rib in her body. She only weighed just under 40 pounds, a dog who should weigh 75 pounds, at least. Any donation to help us give Sadie the life she deserves will be appreciated!

RIP Charlie. Charlie was a rescue and he never felt safe unless he was with his family. Not a mean boy, just a scared little Yorkie. I am going to miss you Charlie. 😞

Maple is recovering nicely at home. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Update: Great news! The intravenous antibiotics are working! He was jaundiced apparently caused by something with his gallbladder. I am relieved.. thank you all for your prayers!

This little love is Aston…he’s pretty sick right now…positive thoughts and prayers please.

I FEEL AS MISERABLE AS I LOOK!

I’m sick and in a very crowded shelter - they are at capacity. One look at me and they know that no caring owner is going to show up looking for me… I can only leave the shelter now on a medical waiver, which just makes it even more unlikely that I will make it out of here! Dogs like me, who never had vaccines, get sicker - plus, I’m so sad, which makes things worse!

Good news, everyone!! I just got moved to another part of the animal shelter, with the other dogs who are leaving tomorrow!! I’m going to be a Westside dog! Anyone want to help Westside care for me?
