It was a joy meeting Sparky, with his owner Dara Renne at the Dog Fest. He was so well mannered, and enjoyed meeting everyone there. Happy early Halloween!!!

It's a wonderful world when you get the opportunity to meet a "Facebook friend" in person. I had the opportunity to work for Sheila Mustain . We actually met when Sheila was in nursing school at Cox, and I was the Child Life Specialist (over 35 years ago...is that right?).
I had been watching Sheila work her magic with her dogs, Tulip and Chelsea, she fostered and then adopted these two precious dogs. I would giggle at her videos of "the cheese game" and watching them bloom into thriving, happy, well trained dogs. Tulip is in the red fleece, and Chelsea is in the black leather bomber. It was wonderful to work with this family, thank you for allowing me to peak into your lives. Hopefully they will stay warm during the chilly weather.

Thanks to everyone that came out for Dog Fest. Lucy tried on the helmet and it was a hit! Thanks Lewis for bringing her out and showing her around.
Thanks to Shawn Black and CJ for swinging by, and Rhonda for bringing Jie. It was a wonderful (yet, hot) day. We've made a few friends, and a lot of sweet pups.
