*Pet of the Month!*
We are starting January off strong with Clyde as our pet of the month! Here’s what his family had to share about this sweet boy.

“Clyde came to us as a rescue per se - he came with his sister Bonnie. Bonnie came first and was stuck in between the sliding door to the barn for 3 days, but we couldn’t get her out. Then out of the blue here comes Clyde and she came out when he cried back at her. So that’s how they got their names Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde has been our best cat ever. Clyde is very verbal, he talks all the time and he is very laid back. He loves cardboard boxes and he loves them very small. We have other cats and he loves aggravating them, but it’s actually his way of playing. We believe he is now on his sixth life as he’s bee in and out of the hospital quite a bit. This last time he was at Divine for having his tail almost cut off, but they nursed him back to health and he is great. We believe Clyde to be about 8 years old and pray we get him for at least another 8!”

Disclaimer: No employees were hurt in this photo shoot! This is our friendly reminder that our pets simply cannot handle freezing temps outside just like we cannot! We had a blast making a calendar for our doctors and we will be sharing more fun photos over the next few months for your viewing pleasure!

Here is an example of how what you see visually on exam is not always enough to create a clear picture. Here is a canine patient's molar that to the naked eye just looks "dirty" with plaque and tarter. But dental radiographs showed a different story! The tooth root was infected and the molar had to be surgically removed during his procedure. These infected teeth do cause discomfort, our pets are just very good at masking it.
We are still offering 10% off dental cleanings booked though January!
