Is your cat drooling, dropping food out of their mouth, losing weight, or not acting as interested in mealtime as they used to be? It may be time to get their teeth and gums checked out. They cannot tell us what hurts, but subtle changes in everyday behaviors are the first indication of a problem.

Happy Friday! We want to take today to showcase a newer face around the clinic. This is Kelly and she is one of our new Client Service representatives! She is always smiling, is full of energy, loves "Wiener dogs" with all her heart as she has two of them herself, and has made a great addition to our front end staff.

More news to share about some changes at the clinic. We have decided that we are going to be closing our doors on Saturdays effective immediately. As this may discourage some clients that are used to Saturday appointments we intend to extend our hours at least one day a week to accommodate those who work during our regular weekday hours.

We are beyond excited to announce that we are welcoming Dr. Julia Bumberry to the Clinic starting in September!

Dr. Bumberry graduated from Oklahoma State University with her doctorate in Veterinary medicine in 2019. Born and raised here in the Ozarks, she practically grew up around exotic species as she worked as a zookeeper at the Dickerson Park zoo in Springfield. She is bringing her love for exotic animal species with her to the practice and will be seeing almost all exotics and pocket pets.
We cannot wait for you and your pets to meet her and we feel like her gentle approach is just what the doctor ordered!

Emily had a great few weeks back helping us out and assisting Dr. Divine with a few TPLO surgeries. Her last day working is tomorrow before taking back off to Columbia for year two of vet school!
