Hi everyone, this is Dr. B! As Summer comes to a close I wanted to apologize for not always being as readily available this summer, but share the exciting reason why. I attended multiple continuing education events to better help your pets and families! One of the biggest skills I worked on was ultrasonography, with a focus on echocardiograms. This means we can now better individualize heart disease care and treatments for your furry family members! So we are now offering echocardiograms in house, with an opportunity for referral. Please reach out if you have any questions about this service or how it can better help your pet.

August 28th is 🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾
This is a day to celebrate our beloved animal companions who have passed.

Our pets teach us unselfish love, and leave us with memories to brighten our days, for the rest of our days. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

As always, your colorful team at Divine is here to support you in your time of loss, and to enjoy the memories with you along the way.

So today, we're asking YOU to share photos and memories of your departed buddies. We'll share some of our own in the comments too!

*August pet of the month is Lilly*
Lilly actually wanted to write her own bio for her post, so here’s her story in her own words!
“My name is Lilly and I’m honored to be pet of the month! My momma found me on a highway 14 years ago and what a miracle that was. She loves me so much and treats me so well! I’m an old gal now and I love my mom so much. I love attention and if I want it I will let you know by staring you down and barking non-stop. I love to eat food and be in the middle of the fun when my brothers and sisters are playing. The most memorable times are when I come to Divine Vet Clinic and I get to visit with all of my lady friends. I have so much fun doing that that I refuse to leave. I have to be carried out and I’m not happy when this happens.”

What would you call this mixed breed? Puggles were popular 15 years ago, add in a yorkie for fun and confusion 😆

July's pet of the month is miss Tilly! She is an absolute sweetheart that loves people, even us! She also loves her nightly walks with her people and chasing squirrels in the backyard.

Feline Leukemia is a risk for any cat that is outdoors or comes into contact with a cat that is allowed to go outdoors. Most cats are tested prior to being adopted at shelters, but if you are adopting from an individual, we urge you to get your new family pet checked out as soon as possible! We can run a blood test in house in under 30 minutes to make sure they are not infected.

We are offering a new discount for the month of July with annual checkups for your canine confidants! We are offering to upgrade your dog's annual heartworm test to what is called a 4DX test that also is screening for tick-borne diseases. As these diseases that ticks are spreading around are becoming more prevalent, we are hoping to also spread awareness to our clients. This antigen test screens for not only Heartworms, but also Lymes disease, Ehrlichiosis, and Anaplasma.
