We are excited to introduce our two trainers who will be the names behind Meadow Hawk Performance Horses. First off we have Sherry Minchew formerly known in the AQHA world as Sherry Stiles or Sherry Moore. She started competing as a very young youth rider with her pony in 4-H. She then moved on to the AQHA shows where she dominated in her last youth year. She was high point in the nation in the youth hunter saddle, youth showmanship, open hunter under saddle and youth hunter hack on HEZA SAVAGE and SKIPS FANCY FACE. She also won the Congress in the youth hunter under saddle and the Showmanship as well as many top tens and fifteens. She was also a Reserve AQHYA World Champion in the hunter under saddle. She then went on to her pro career where she had a very successful go. She has won multiple AQHA World, Congress and Palomino World and reserve World champions and high point in the nation awards during her career. She first stepped out as a pro in 1994 and has not only trained and shown many young horses to the top levels of futurities and world championships but has helped many many non-pro and youth riders make their riding dreams a reality. She has trained and coached the showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, hunter under saddle, hunter hack, working hunter, equitation, pleasure driving, ranch classes and barrel, pole and stake horses.
Our next trainer is Hannah Minchew and she just finished her last year of youth. However, she finished it with a bang in multiple events. She has won the All American Quarter Horse Congress and was reserve and has had multiple top tens in the pole bending, barrels, and hunter under saddle. She also won the AQHYA World show in the pole bending. She has multiple AQHYA top tens and fifteens in the hunter hack, equation over fences, barrels and stake race. She also has multiple state 4-H champions as well as Southern Regionals. She was the only rider in the history of the Georgia 4-H state horse show to win the Division Championship in 3 different disciplines in the same year and she not only did it once but she did it twice sweeping the hunter division, stock seat division and running division championships. She has won Southern Regionals in barrels, western pleasure, horsemanship and showmanship with reserves and top tens in the hunters. She also has multiple State Federation wins and top tens.
