MEET THE TEAM!! 🐾
Everyone meet Sydney or as most of us call her Syd! Sydney started with us as a student getting hours for the Certified Veterinary Technician program. We were honored and happy to have her in two students rotations, and we realized she was definitely a keeper! She was hired in 2023, as an official Certified Veterinary Technician! Her favorite things to do at work are lab procedures such as ear slides, blood work, etc. and she also really enjoys being in surgery! Syd is such a joy to work with. We appreciate her hard work and dedication that she brings to our Woodbine Team!

Atlas came in to see Dr. Currin for his final puppy boosters! He is such a good boy and is enjoying his time with his trainers, and it’s clearly paying off! 🤎
We will see him in a year when he’s all grown up for his annual exam and vaccines! 🐾

Meet everyone’s favorite, Tonya, one of our amazing receptionists! She started with us in 2006, almost 18 years ago!! Her favorite thing to do when not at work, is spend time with her family. Not only are we so honored to have her as part of our team for so many years, but also honored to have her be one of the first beautiful smiling faces you see when you first walk in! We are so appreciative of all she does, she is so hard working and such a kind soul! We couldn’t be happier to have her be a part of our amazing Woodbine family! MEET THE TEAM!! 🐾
Everyone meet Haley! Haley has been a part of our team since 2022, first starting out just getting hours for her certification in the veterinary technician program. It didn’t take long into her clinical hours that we realized we needed her to be a part of our team! And roughly a year later, she completed the veterinary technician program and is now an official Certified Veterinary Technician! Haley’s favorite thing to do at work is surgery, emergencies, and caring for hospitalized patients. When not at work you can probably catch her somewhere with her beloved dachshund, Jimmy Dean!❤️
We appreciate Haley’s amazing work more than she knows! Not only is she hard working but she is always such a positive person to work with!! She is an asset to our amazing team!

It can be difficult to differentiate between seasonal allergies and flea allergic dermatitis. Here are some symptoms to watch out for.

🌿 Spring Allergy symptoms :
* itching
* sneezing
* watery eyes
* skin irritation
Pets may also exhibit behaviors such as excessive scratching, licking, or chewing on their paws or skin. If you notice these signs, call us to schedule an appointment.

🚫 Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) Symptoms: Flea allergy symptoms can be similar to those of spring allergies.
* severe itching
* redness
* inflammation
Particularly around the base of the tail and along the back. Flea dirt (tiny black specks) may be visible on your pet's skin or fur.
‼️Prevention is key, so ensure your pet is on a regular veterinary recommended flea prevention regimen.‼️
