Dr. March status update, as we want to assure everyone we are open for normal business hours. Doctor March recently needed a surgery to repair damage caused by radiation therapy she had 30 years ago. She is recovering very well, and is expected to be back to work in a few short weeks. We thank all of you for the well wishes and for understanding. 🐾

Update on the bottle babies- Jazzy, Razz, Taz and Whiz all looking for forever homes. The tuxedos are pretty bonded, and we would love for them to go together. Being adopted through a rescue, but please let us know if you’re interested. We would love to keep them in our Montecito family. All females and all spayed, felv/fiv tested, vaccinated to be indoor kitties, dewormed, microchipped, and flea treated.

Shout out to our team of rockstars. We have been passing these babies around like hot potatoes even sharing the night shift. They get fed every 3 hours, and it absolutely takes a village and an emotional roller coaster! We can’t do this all the time, but situations happen. So thank you to our tired staff cause our babies are slowly growing. They’re going to be the most socialized kittens ever. Meet Taz, Wiz, Raz, & Jaz the strongest 4! Tasmanian, Wizard, Razzmatazz, & Jazzy for full names 🐾

These will be altered before they are rehomed, and we are no where close. Updates to come…

Lo**ta is a 11 year old Chihuahua, who has stollen our hearts. Looking for a new home, as her mom was just put into a elderly care facility. Lo**ta has a heart murmur, but not needing to be treated at this time. She’s current on vaccines, has arthritis and may benefit from glucosamine & anti inflammatories. Does well around cats, is house trained, shows positive interest in other dogs while out on walks. Has a funky left front leg, but has been like that her whole life. Looking for a new retirement home. Please let us know if you’re interested in this sweet girl.
