Home 2 Home is a non-profit canine orphanage that aims to revolutionize the way dogs go about finding their perfect homes. Using our high standard and premium facility to provide dogs with a safe and loving environment, we allow for dogs to further themselves socially as well as get the exercise and care they need to succeed. The ultimate goal is to offer a natural environment for a better present

ation to potential families.

- We are not a traditional shelter. We consider ourselves more of an orphanage because we provide needs-based care.
- We temperament test all dogs to ensure a proper fit for our environment.
- We offer caring owners a worry-free option to re-home their pets when things don’t work out.
- We do not stick dogs in cages with limited exposure to humans or other dogs. Instead, dogs are kept in small packs that are under consistent supervision (24/7) by their human pack leader. This allows for proper daily exercise and helps build and maintain good socialization skills with both dogs and humans.
- We aim to present dogs’ natural personalities to better display them to prospective adopters.
- We re-home based on what each dog needs to succeed.
- We give dogs a safe vacation-like environment to play and make friends.
- We have 15 acres of land to meet all of their exercise needs.
- Dogs have access to top notch trainers, veterinary care, and amenities like constant fresh flowing water, always available beds, non-slick rubber floors, and wide open areas to run and play with their friends.

Poor Julie has found herself in an emergency situation. She’s in need of a foster home immediately. Her current fosters dogs are small and showing aggression toward her and she doesn’t understand and just wants to play. When we found another foster, that fosters small dog doesn’t like her either. Julie is a year or so old, would love a home by herself or with a dog who likes to play closer to her size. If your home meets these needs, please consider being her hero. She’s currently in limbo waiting in someone’s car for where she will be wanted next.

Meet Julie (Jules), Your Playful Wire-haired pointer/Terrier mix. If you’re looking to put a little fun in your life, Jules is the perfect pup for you! This 1.5 year old terrier mix is full of life and loves to play with her people, toys and other dogs. She's also good with older kids, making her a great fit for families. Jules is fully crate trained, and is doing well with learning manors, potty training, walks, and she's eager to learn more. She's looking for a loving home where she can continue her training and have plenty of playtime in the fenced backyard.

Hilary is a true companion ❤, she wants to be wherever you are and absolutely melts with affection!
She will lay her head on your lap, give kisses, and snuggle on the couch/bed when allowed.
Hilary is also very smart and easily motivated by treats!
So far, she knows “Sit,” “Stay”, "Down" and “Bed". She's also responsive to "No" and "Out".
She is crate and potty trained. She does not have full, unmonitored access to the house very often but there haven't been any issues (accidents, chewing, etc.) when she has.

Goodness does she LOVE toys and any kind of playful stimulation!
She will hang out independently, chewing on a bone or digging the squeekers out of a stuffy; but she especially loves when you play with her, whether it's fetch, tugging a rope, running in the yard, or chasing a lazer pointer... She's ready for anything!

Hilary has shown no signs of aggression towards any person or animal. She is gentle with and tolerant of children and curious about cats, wishing they would play with her!

Hershel’s foster is in healthcare and due to the weather we are about to receive, she will need to relieve herself of fostering him in the next 24 hours so she can stay at the hospital for 3/4 days straight. Below is a little bio about him if someone could kindly take over for the little guy.

“Meet Hershel. This 15 week old, 11 pound mixed breed bundle of cuteness is ready for his forever home. Sweet Hershel was saved from a shelter with a high euthanasia list. How could this world live without this face. Hershel is timid when meeting new people but once he knows he can trust you, he loves to snuggle, give kisses and be your best friend. Can’t blame a guy for having trust issues. He is still working on potty training but doing well. He uses his crate as a comfort and safe place when he needs time to decompress. He does well with older kids but younger ones tend to make him anxious. He does well on the leash so a fenced in yard is not a must but he would love to roam free. Bella needs a new foster TODAY please!!!!!

This beauty is Bella.

Do her beautiful eyes tell you the same thing they are telling us?? She has such a kind soul and wants so badly to be loved. 💖

Bella is only 8-10 months old and in her very short life, she has been failed so many times. Rescued from the euthanasia list at a rural pound, who knows what her past may have been like. We are looking for someone today to be her hero and to help show her that her future will be so much brighter!!

At 48 pounds, Bella is a very manageable size. She is good with other dogs and LOVES people. When she first came to us, she completely melted into a volunteers lap. Bella is mostly potty trained and crate trained. She’d love a fenced in yard to run in but this isn’t a requirement.

If you have a temporary or possibly forever home for Bella, the ability to help keep her warm during the snowy days ahead, and the heart to show her the love that she so desperately needs, please reach out today! ❤️

Foster update for Riley!

Riley is absolutely amazing and is such a joy!

Her house manners are remarkable! She is very good with our older dog. She only plays with her toys and leaves human things alone. (Although human food interests her a LOT 😂)

She’s so great that we actually let her sleep uncrated in the room with us and our dog on night one! She stayed in the same spot curled up under a blanket all night.

She wants to be in the room you’re in, and just lie there while you do your thing. She will follow you if you leave the room she’s in and just lay nearby you. She’s very calm. She loves to play with her toys, especially bones and balls that make noise. She’ll roll them a few feet and “fetch them to herself”.

She’s also potty trained and already ringing the bell by the back door to go outside. She knows sit and lay down, and a few cute tricks as well. She’s understandably hesitant on walks but once she knows the neighborhood she’ll do great. She had some strangers approach her already on a walk and she was very sweet to them!
She’s going to be a truly awesome dog for whoever is lucky enough to get her!

Didn’t find what you wanted under the tree? How about a pittie mix? Or maybe two. These 2 and a half year old brothers are sweet natured and super fun. Jabba and Jon Jon are 2 peas in a pod. They love being together to play, sleep and get hugs. They are good eaters, house and crate trained and quick learners. Pittie mixes are less likely to develop health conditions common with their parent breeds. They also have calmer traits than their Pittie parents. Come meet these guys and you’ll want to take them home.

ADOPTED❤️

Paul is an 8 week old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who weighs around 14 lbs. Paul is super sweet and loves cuddles. He is very excited about his food and loves working for his treats. He loves to lay on his back for lots of belly rubs and he already knows where his food is and will frequently go sit by the cabinet looking all cute! He has also been a quiet boy so far, only heard little whimpers out of him from time to time.

Paul’s foster sister dog is a 105 lbs Akita/Lab mix who loves to play hard, and doesn’t quite know how big she is. Paul is curious but cautious right now around her foster sister dog. They’ve given kisses and played cat and mouse around the island. He likes to run around outside and then hide under the table from her. He has enjoyed playing with his human sisters (ages 8 and 12) and runs right over to them when they call for him. He also enjoys naps snuggled up next to one of us.
At 8 weeks old he is still working on potty training but so far has only had one accident in the house. We take him out every hour and he is starting to go right away when we say “go potty”! And then anxiously awaits his “good boy” treat for such a good potty!
He likes going to his crate for meals and to escape from his big foster sister dog. He is sleeping in the crate at night next to his foster mommy who has to put her hand by the door a few times to settle his little whimper. We have not attempted a leash walk yet, but with time I’m sure he’d do great! He is already catching onto “sit” and has the cutest sit around town!!
He’s a good boy and we can tell he will make his forever family as happy as can be. We think Paul would thrive in a home with a lot of love, snuggles, food, and a fenced yard to run free! Don’t let this beautiful black dog be another black shelter dog, he is so handsome and deserving of all the love in the world! Black dogs for the win!!!!!! You’ll find yourself saying “you’re such a good boy!” all day long!

Cozy up by the fire with this 8 lb, 3 yr old sweet girl, Eloise. Eloise is a Havanese that is mild natured and learning how to trust humans. Unfortunately, she only for breeding purposes and had to say good bye to her litters, leaving her alone and now looking for someone for her to love for a lifetime!

Eloise is eager to please and learning how to be that perfect house dog quite well! She is doing really well with potty training and slowly learning how to walk on a leash with positive reinforcement. She likes to follow you and be wherever you are and she loves to snuggle down in her bed at night.

This sweet soul loves other dogs, good with cats, and with children (I have an 8 yr old). I am certain that she will gain your trust and make the perfect companion. On her wish list is the perfect home that would hopefully include another dog so she can have a dog friend or even someone that works from home/retired.

Age: approx 4.5 years old
Breed: Husky/malamute mix
Likes: Long walks, belly rubs, chasing balls, playing tug, and laying by your feet
Dislikes: Missing out on treats and being left alone too long
Special Characteristics: Big heart full of love! Mature guy who never has accidents and is trusted to watch over the house when left alone. Enjoys having his gorgeous coat brushed. Currently weighs about 80 lbs but working on a trim down to around 75.

At just 45 #, Nori is one of the smallest Great Dane mixes we’ve seen! She is right around a year old but has all of the energy and pliability of a puppy. She is a very quick learner, understanding her name and “kennel” in just a few days - she would do anything for a treat/reward!

Whether it’s running after a ball, chasing down stray sticks in the yard, or cuddling on the couch, Nori is game. Her baby deer appearance and sweet, fun-loving personality makes everyone fall in love with her.

Nori is potty trained, good with other dogs, good with cats, and most likely good with older children (she is still learning to not jump when she is excited). She would love a home with another playful dog that likes fetch or tug-of-war, and has the patience for her puppy antics. She would prefer a fenced in yard so she can get her zoomies out. While she’s bursting with energy most of the time, she understands when it’s time to settle down at night and sleeps like an angel in her crate.

Meet David! This adorable male puppy was born on October 20th, 2024, and is a sweet mix of Australian Shepherd and Golden Labrador. Weighing in at 11.2 pounds, he is the perfect size for cuddles and playtime. David is already showing off his intelligence, picking up potty training after just a few days! He’s a playful and curious little guy who loves other dogs and gets along wonderfully with his furry friends.
