Dreamweaver Farm is an organization that has taken in 11 rescued horses and 3 pigs We have a herd of ten horses, a pony, and three pigs.

We have dedicated ourselves to giving these animals a safe and loving place to live. They come from different circumstances and all have had a rough start. We are working on training with a few of them. We will rarely but occasionally adopt out a horse, and will occasionally take a horse in when they are in dire need.

Farm Vet day. Blue is being tested for Cushing’s. We will keep everyone updated once we get the results back.

What is Cushing's?
Equine Cushing's disease (ECD) is a chronic progressive disease of the intermediate pituitary gland of older horses. Horses with Cushing's disease often have other health problems, such as laminitis, chronic infections, pseudolactation, and other issues. Generally, the first clinical signs with Cushing's disease are long hair or delayed shedding, abnormal fat deposits, loss of topline muscle, or weight loss and laminitis.
