Riders at Prairie Gem Stables form a team of dedicated horsemanship and horse lovers of all ages. The attention to the finer details of riding disciplines of Dressage, Saddleseat English, Hunt Seat English, Western, Trail Course, Sidesaddle, as well as Halter showing and Showmanship, produce high quality results for success, both in and out of the show ring. Natural Horsemanship, gentle but understandable horse language, is a must have, for our riders, who learn to problem solve, ride with style and correctness, and make the ride enjoyable for the horse as well as themselves. Being part of the competition team is not required, but all riders will be trained with the attention to the finer techniques of proper riding and horse handling. Many of our riders have been with Prairie Gem for 10 to 15 years, and some have trusted Linda and Rob Brown, the owners, to care for their horses and train their children for 17 to 22 years. Relationships that last a life time! The horses are important and so are the riders! With 25 years in the business of training riders and horses for excellence, you will be happy to become part of the team of PGS!
