My stable introduces the rider to all aspects of general care of horses, the correct/safe way to ride Huntseat. We travel to competitions, trail ride, have fun days, and enjoy the horses as well as the camaraderie of our riders!

Cold weather reminder ❄️
As the outdoor temperatures starts to drop, cats will hide under car hoods for protection and warmth. Use caution when you start your car in the cold winter month ahead. If cats are left outside, they may climb under the car hood. Before you climb into the car, slap the hood or open it for a quick look around ❤️

Sandy Creek Stables current group of Jumping Jockeys attend the practice day at the beautiful Dunnabeck show grounds in Carbondale Illinois. Hosted by Mark and Jill O'Donugh every fall this event is widely attended by event erst from a five state area. We thank them so very much for offering the grounds to practice on the day before the main show. My group cannot wait to attend next year as real competitors!

2023.. Its been a long hot sweating frustrating summer. But also a great learning sharing supporting fun year. Our last show was with the MSU horse program. We had so much fun! This reel is focusing on how we practiced, got ready, competed and placed. All 6 riders won ribbons...had some hiccups, but pushed through. It was a great fall day to wind up our year! Come on 2024!!
