Pele’s COCOA TEA
Begin by putting cold water and a handful of the tea into a gallon soup pot. Cover it. Bring to a rapid boil, and let it boil a few minutes till liquid turns dark brown. Turn off burner and let tea steep there for an hour as it cools. Add sweetener to taste.
If you want a really dense chocolate brew, add in a few of the cocoa nibs at the beginning as they will release cocoa butter which makes the brew more rich in flavor. Heavy cream also can make this more delicious if you like, but wait to add that until it is cool unless you want a hot chocolate.
