Unfortunately with bieng a breeder Also means dealing with people who just have no idea what they are talking about ..

My puppies do not leave my care until they have cleared a vet visit, received their 1st set of vaccine's, and been dewormed... And are fully weaned it is up to me as the breeder to keep them longer if they are not ready to if I feel for any reason they need to stay longer....
Also all puppies must clear a vet visit before being given vaccines or Dewormer because if a puppy does end up having an underlying condition of the heart or something internal giving them dewormer or their vaccine can cause a reaction ...
Unfortunately I had a stud owner who wanted their pick of litter way too soon and it ended up turning into a problem so I went ahead and released the puppy with a Written statement stating The breeder is relinquishing all rights or responsibilities concerning that puppy and that since they could not wait and were unwilling to wait till after the vet visit or until the puppy was on complete hard food ... Any issues that arises with that puppy is not my responsibility this is the 1st time I've ever released a puppy this soon but Owner to stud was unwilling to give up on taking their puppy....she refused the vet visit AND first vaccines in the written statement...
Of course about a week later that puppy saw A vet and was diagnosed with Giardia... smh
All other puppies CLEARED their appt :)
1st of all all my puppies I always tell them to take the puppy to the vet within 72 hours.... Not only do what they clear a vet from me but they are to take their puppy to a vet within 72 hours after taking their puppy home...
It only takes 24 hours for giardia to infect and show symptoms.... and can get it from anywhere ...
They did not wait for their AKC papers either as they were still in the mail and refused to give me an address to send the papers to once they arrive, thus resulting in an issue where I was held responsible for delivering the papers wherever they were... Regardless of the circumstances if they wanted their papers as badly as they say they could have just come picked up the papers anytime... but I was blamed for the delay.

The point of this post is to educate future puppy buyers how important it is to allow your puppy To stay with the breeder until the breeder is ready to release them the breeder always knows best.... Any good breeder should never release their puppy before any of this is done anyways... I trusted that this person knew what they were doing and I took their word for it that the puppy was gonna be OK and even though I made them agree that I was no longer responsible for the puppy after it leaves my property they still tried to say that my puppies live in unsanitary conditions because it had giardia.

And even though it is Google any real vet will tell you that giardia can be contracted very easily and very FAST....

Please please please do NOT try and ask for your puppy before breeder is willing to release them as this is a prime example of what can happen....
