Did you see her eye?
Axolotls use a sucking motion when eating. Sometimes you can see their eyes pop in and out a bit. It's always an interesting sight to see when it happens. π

Juvenile Coppers π
These glittery coppers are measuring in at 3 to 3 and 1/2 in. They hatched November 28th 2020 which makes them one exactly two months old! They are homozygous copper, and het mel. The mother is a melanoid, and the father is a copper. Together the pair produced coppers, and wilds. These coppers are looking for new Water. π

Tips to start a plentiful BBS Hatchery π
You will need the following items:
- NON Iodized table salt
- Baking Soda
- Calcium Powder
- BBS Eggs
- A hatchery set up. ( I use the pop bottle method, for more info you can pm me / find tons of videos on YouTube.
- Desk lamp with a reptile heat bulb ( I use 50 Watts. )
* Optional * - Thermometer
Once you have your hatchery put together, fill your hatchery with cold water that has NOT been dechlorinated. This helps the bbs break out of their eggs. Next, you will add one tablespoon of NON Iodized table salt, one pinch on baking soda, and one pinch of calcium powder per 16 OZ of water. Your hatchery heats up throughout the day with the help of your desk lamp, you want the temperature to reach about 80Β°. Any colder you eggs may take longer to hatch, any hotter your babies may boil π.
Remember to store your bbs eggs in the refrigerator so they do not go bad!
If you need anything help along the way pm me ! It can be tricky the first time you try, but once you get it, its just like riding a bike ! You'll never forget π
