What an amazing day!!!

Continuing education is a crucial ingredient in our recipe of best medicine that we try to deliver every day.

We had an amazing day with Kim from the dental company Midmark who gave our team training on dental radiographs and dental nerve block techniques. The surgical assistants, licensed vet techs and Doctors Davidson and Dodds all learned so much! A big kudos to our superstar CSRs Shaylon and Debbie who held the fort down while we were busy filling our brains with knowledge!

We tried to have our own version of safe fireworks today to make you smile. The team at Rio Vista Animal Hospital wants your pets safe this holiday. Please read some of our teams top tips. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July. Ensure your pet is microchipped and ID tags are worn. Walk/exercise your dog during daylight hours. Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound. Put on some music or TV to mask firework sounds. Create a quiet space where your animal can feel safe. Do not take your pets to large gatherings or firework displays as this can be highly stressfull for your pet.
