An interesting case from today. A small size Siamese cat with left side perineal hernia, which contained the urinary bladder and omentum, not an everyday find! Usually see one of those and mostly dogs every couple of months. And to make it more spicy there was an either a necrosis or a tumor on the vertex of the bladder. So, excised the tumor, sutured the opening and then placed the bladder in the abdomen, where it belongs. Then polypropylene mesh was used to repair the hernia.

Интересен случай от днес. Сиамска котка с перинеална херния. Като я отворих се оказа че сьдьржа пикочния мехур и оментум. За да е още по-интересно имаше и некроза, или тумор на стената на мехура. Лезията беше изрязана и отвора зашит, след което хернията беше коригирана с полипропиленова мрежа. Обикновено тези случаи са редки, на няколко месеца и най-вече застаряващи не кастрирани кучета от малки породи. Лезията бе изпратена за хистология.

This year we are partnering with into doing a supply drive for Animal House Shelter. We want to make sure we give back to organizations that help homeless pets into finding their perfect home. Please stop by and donate any of the items below by December 20, 2024.

List of needed supplies:
-Pet food (wet or dry)
-Paper Towels

-Bleach

Any remaining supplies after December 20,2024 will be donated to a local shelter or rescue. ❤️
