Meet Victor, an approximately 8-month-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who’s ready to find his forever home. Named after the resilient and lovable Victor from “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame,” this little guy is as charming as his counterpart, with a big personality packed into a small frame. His adorable brindle coat, big ears and twirled tail are just the beginning—he’s a true character, full of heart and s***k!

Victor is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and working hard on his leash manners, eager to explore the world around him. He’s very food motivated, making training sessions fun and rewarding as he learns new commands.

Meet Fausta, a charming pup thought to be around 1-year-old whose name, meaning “Fortunate” in Italian, perfectly reflects her loving nature and lucky spirit.

Whether in the yard, on a walk, or snoozing in the living room, Fausta embodies the Italian ideal of “la dolce vita”—the sweet life—and will make a wonderful addition to a loving home. Quiet, playful, and full of potential, she’s ready to be the perfect famiglia member.

We’re kicking 2025 off STRONG with our first adoption of the year! It’s none other than sweet senior girl Cleo (middle) who had been with us since June. Her foster mom took such good care of this special girl, and we know she’ll be spoiled with her new family!

Way to go, Cleo! Happy New Year 🎉

At almost 6 years old, Fraser is a well behaved guy who loves toys. He would love a canine sibling to play with, and to help him learn there’s nothing to be worried about outside the house (he’s a bit cautious).

Earlier today, we shared some of our upcoming in-person volunteer orientation dates. One of the most rewarding ways to volunteer is by fostering!

Bark Cuban (a handsome young boy from Alabama), Briana (the sweet momma of our next Adoption Center puppies), and Windsor (a rock-solid 2-year-old) are all looking for foster homes in the new year.

Sign up to foster now and help us start the year off strong by securing their spot on transport! 🐾

Martha May is a graceful Retriever mix who exudes elegance and calm. She is the epitome of relaxation, preferring to enjoy her meals lying down—a charming quirk that never fails to make her foster family smile.

Martha is a social butterfly when it comes to people and dogs alike, and her calm demeanor makes her wonderful with babies and children of all ages.

This serene sweetheart thrives in the company of others and would do best in a home where someone is around during the day or where she can enjoy the social buzz of doggy daycare. With her gentle spirit, refined manners, and endearing quirks, Martha May is ready to bring warmth and love to her forever family.

🎉 Let’s Close Out the Year on a High Note! 🐾 As we wrap up 2024, there’s still time to make a difference for the dogs in our care. Many essential items on our wishlist—like food, bedding, and toys—are still needed to ensure these pups are happy, healthy, and ready for their forever homes.

Help Marzen, who found her forever home last weekend, end the year strong and set these dogs up for success in 2025 by donating supplies today. Every contribution gets us closer to giving them the love and care they deserve!

🎉 A Huge Congratulations to Copper—now known as Leo!

After spending over 50 days at CACC and nearly 100 days in an SCCR foster home, Leo has officially found his forever home! 🏡 Leo's new mom says he's the sweetest, goofiest boy and it took him no time to figure out which pantry they keep the treats in.

We love celebrating the adoptions of our foster dogs who hang out a little longer than we hope. Leo’s journey is a testament to the patience, love, and dedication of our fosters and supporters. Wishing Leo and his new family a lifetime of happiness together! 💕

One of our most rewarding tasks is keeping senior dogs out of loud, chaotic shelters and giving them a warm, loving home. Last fiscal year, your support helped us find homes for 53 senior dogs and provide them with medical and dental care to ensure their comfort. Senior dogs are the most expensive age group to rescue, but their soft sighs and grateful kisses make it so worth it!

You can help us save more seniors like Marnie in 2025! Now through December 31st, your donation will go twice as far thanks to a generous $20,000 match from two incredible families.

💕 Every dollar truly makes a difference.

Raise your hand if you're jealous of Marnie's outrageously long eyelashes?!🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

11 year old Marnie enjoys her slow strolls around the block, or better yet, meandering through the yard. She's always by your side, ready to lend a comforting presence during your cozy nights in. With Marnie, you'll have a lap warmer, a seasoned companion, and a lovely little lady who brings a touch of grace and those signature 3-inch lashes. Adopt this golden gal, and your days will be filled with slow walks, warm snuggles, and the sweet silence of her gentle companionship.
